That eliminates any max player on their 3rd contract (supermax) or any max player with at least 10 years of experience (eligible for the same 35% as the supermax) So, you're looking for max-level players still on their rookie max extensions or 3rd contract but at a non-supermax cap hit (25-30% of cap). @DanteOnDeck Everybody hates it, and that's partly why I love it. Was a big JB fan, but I'm a bigger Celtics fan. PG isn't who he used to be but he's still a quality player next to a great one in Tatum. Brads not done, we will have a solid team. That being said...I do hate JB went to Philly

A 36-year-old Paul George is a CLEAR downgrade from Jaylen Brown, and there is no denying that. But that doesn't mean PG won't fit in Boston's system and succeed. Actually, IF HEALTHY, I think PG can thrive in Boston. There is no longer a question of who's the leader and the true #1. PG won't be dropping 20 PPG, but he won't be stepping on anybody's toes either.

If building around Tatum and saving money to strengthen the core is Brad vision. Last summer Brad took the route of dumping Porzingis, Holiday, Kornet and Horford. Fast forward a year, is it safe to say the smarter route would’ve been to off load Brown then. Haul of draft capital and assets to build around Tatum. Brads slip up may have been not this off-season, but last years.

@bballbreakdown Don't like this call bc JB is just moving the ball to the other side without extending his elbow outside of his frame. In fact he's leaning backwards. Oubres head inexplicably is the closest body part to Brown, I don't know if he wanted to clear the ball with his head or what

Unclear why Brown feels the need to discuss this play with Foster considering he obviously committed a foul. And Foster holds up his hand to let him know to stop talking, as he's been complaining a lot already
