Lord this woman is dumb. She wants to dumb down our entire system and destroy some of NYC’s best schools. I’m convinced she purposely is trying to drive more and more families away from the system, while keeping the same budget so more money can be spent on her own kids. She hates white people. She shows disdain for the middle class and upper middle class. She feels schools like stuy and Bronx Science are too Asian, despite the Asian people being the poorest demographic in the city. If you look at her own district, the exodus to charters and private is real. And her answer has always been ‘more’ of the programs no one wants. Maybe she should ask why more black and brown kids either (1) aren’t passing the test or, which is a big driver of this, (2) why more high achieving black and brown kids abandon public schools for charter and private.
