There’s lots of talk about what the Gladu floor crossing means. In my view, it means that even somebody like her who disagrees strongly with many Liberal policies recognizes that this government is good for Canada. As long as the Liberal Party is not changing its policies to accommodate her, there is no reason to question where we stand on the issues on which she disagrees. Any Canadian willing to support the Liberals despite holding some views that the Liberal Party opposes should be welcome as long as they do not try to change what we stand for or make statements that would sow division. #cdnpoli

It started sounding like a tractor cause the head gasket blew between 3 and 4 cylinders, so I took the head off, got forty thou' shaved off it, for higher compression. That Leaning Tower Of Power had a new life, and shredded the tires! (The fronts cause the Kingpins were gibbled.)

I feel sorry for kids today. When I started driving, it was in a 1966 GMC, that kept blowing transmissions every second month, but the auto wrecker was full of replacements. An hour and $30 and you had a replacement. Then I had a '74 Vega that burned a litre of gas, and a litre of oil at the same rate, but you know what? Any worn out engine would still run. It would rattle, and fart, and cough, and tick away, but adding thicker oil and you were out partying. Today? OMG. What's a kid to do? Buy a used Ford Focus and blow a transmission in that, and then what? It's ridiculous. I feel bad for kids. And adults actually, who bought brand new stuff and the engine blows... wow. What a quagmire we've created. I know a family with a 2025 Yukon Denali XL, and a 2024 GMC 1500, combined cost $200,000 and both have 6.2L engines.... which one is gonna blow up, first? It's insanity.
