@iuliu__ @BlueGhostTW @brave_romania dude, don't be an idiot. both things can be true. just because "People who fought fascism" were communists shooting AK's at statues of Jesus, doesn't mean the Legionaries were not perpetrating the Bucharest pogrom (January 1941)

Daily writing is the new weightlifting. Back in the day, 90%+ of the population worked manual labor on farms. We didn’t have “gyms” because everyone was breaking their back working all day. Once we got machines, we needed a new way to keep our body in shape - lifting heavy objects (3 sets of 10), voluntarily, at the gym. The same thing is happening for writing. Everyone is outsourcing their thinking to AI. The brain is a muscle, and it will atrophy if you don’t use it.

Have you noticed that Palestinians never seem to have “good friends” telling them “hard truths” such as: “The war you have been waging for more than a century against Jewish self-determination has been a disaster, brought nothing but bloodshed, and has been a complete failure”?
Rahm Emanuel@RahmEmanuel

Tomorrow at 9:30am ET at Tel Aviv University, I'll lay out where I believe the US-Israel relationship must go from here. I didn't come to flatter anyone. I came because real friends tell each other hard truths — and tomorrow, I will. Stay tuned.

This is a devastating blow for russia and I’m incredibly proud of the result. It’s proof that if you put enough pressure on politicians and wake enough people up, real change can happen. The power of journalism when used for good. 🙏❤️

Wanted to do a quick follow-up on the tool I mentioned in the quoted post. I built it for my own apps and the results genuinely surprised me. Users actually want to share their opinion. They upvote, they request features, they care about the product they use. Here are real screenshots from one of my apps. These are requests people left, voted on, and that I actually shipped. What surprised me most: users want to be heard. Just give them a way to speak and they will. I’m really happy to share this tool with you soon. Almost there just finishing the last bits this week. Bookmark this. Next week I’ll be announcing my first build-in-public SaaS 👇

I have 30+ apps, and for a long time I had no idea what users actually wanted from them until I did one simple thing. When I was building my very first app, I wanted a way to know what users actually wanted to see in it. So I built a simple feature request screen right inside the app. Just a place where users could drop ideas and I could see what to ship next. Then I started building more apps and some of them started getting traction. I quickly realised I needed the same screen in each of them. Partly for me, so I can see whether users are actually engaged and what they'd like me to add next. Partly for them, so they could see the app is alive and the dev actually cares about hearing them out. What I really wanted was a dumb simple plug-and-play thing. Paste 2 lines of code into the app and it just works. No complex setup, no time wasted on configuration, I just wanted the outcome fast. I also built a simple dashboard, a central place where I could see all my feature requests across apps in one place and decide what to build next. Now it helps me understand the users of the apps I'm trying to grow: what features they actually want, how many people are voting for each one, so I can decide whether it makes sense to ship it. Something is cooking. More next week 😄

🇷🇴🇲🇩 Romania’s Chamber of Deputies has tacitly adopted a proposal for union with the Republic of Moldova. From the proposal: “The Romanian Parliament reiterates its commitment to the Helsinki Final Act, which allows peaceful border changes. The Romanian Parliament decides on the union of Romania with the Republic of Moldova.” It also authorizes the Government to immediately start negotiations with Chișinău. Initiated by S.O.S. România, it now goes to the Senate (decisive chamber).
