@jd842842 @yugalabs @pixelvault_ I am a "gamer" and yeah dookey Dash was addictive as hell AND fun. Forge feels like a chore and I really really don't like it. Shattered I'm neutral. Doesn't excite me.

I am not a gamer.
@yugalabs
Dookey Dash was Awsome!
Forge was horrible
Shattered is bland
@pixelvault_
Battle Plan Is Awesome!

If you want to attract my kind be like Dookey Dash and Battle Plan.

Over the last few days, I sold most of my Yuga Web 3.0 gaming assets. Time is the most precious thing, and I don’t see any value, fun, or increasing value potential of gaming assets coming from these activities now or soon enough.
Here are a few thoughts my common sense has given me over the last few months and I ignored them because “never fade thing” and past:
⚪️ As always, people here are driven by hype, gambling, or generating profits. It is tough to sustain gaming activities if you dont generate proper profits for players from playing economy, fun, or increasing the value of the NFT.
⚪️ Most launches and more information meant decreased value, because the value was built on speculations without proper information to make informed decisions. Long waiting = hype gone and buying pressure going lower and lower over time.
⚪️ So more and more information is provided and the hype is going to another hot thing; it’s hard not to be locked in stuff like the HV-MTL daily grind when the swapping voting every day is the most hated thing you’re doing daily.
⚪️ Also, games need low entry to attract new players. I cannot see a significant increase in the prices of gaming assets without onboarding tens, hundreds, and thousands of people interested in Web 3.0 gaming. The bear market is long, and people staying here must generate more profits first from NFTS (which is hard for NFTS projects because the yuga playbook used by other projects ended with a lot of failed expectations in the delivery; Doodles, Azuki, Clonex, Moonbirds or on the other way tons of scams and cash grabs) and crypto bull market first.
⚪️ Only ways to generate profit until now are selling votes, creating DAOs for voting, and playing for people who dont have time or are not attracted by gaming. They’re mainly paying because they do not want to miss out on their historic belief in Yuga. And in reality just paying $APE and $ETH for playing.
⚪️ Most BAYC community members are not players or do not have time for it. The most significant task for @yugalabs is to keep value for holding Ape in general, not from a past perspective but a future one. The best future possible thing, I think is the art perspective without expectation as punks, history value, and people in the club + nice to have benefited from most of the Yuga activities.
⚪️ From my perspective, I started looking for nice @cryptopunks, exciting art to hold and enjoy without expectation. Or just to hold BTC and ETH and benefiting from that liquidity.
I am still hyped about @BoredApeYC, holding a few apes, the future vision of @OthersideMeta from a club and platform perspective to see Apes & NFT friends there. Really looking forward to @CryptoGarga and @GordonGoner calling us to the clubhouse.
But I see the “gaming time” better invested somewhere else; in IRL activities, hobbies, or just clearing my brain space.
So I followed my common sense, as in my business IRL activities, and made the decision.
