🚨Rosenior says the international break has come at a good time for a "reset" to "gather their thoughts". Also says, energy-wise, that Chelsea have been impacted by the Club World Cup, having been outrun by every PL team this season.

🚨💣 𝐁𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋: The Chelsea board are extremely unhappy with the current situation at the club. 🔵
The Blues have now gone four games without a win, increasing pressure behind the scenes.
An emergency meeting has already been scheduled for Monday to decide the future of Liam Rosenior and notably, this meeting was planned even before today’s result.
The heavy 3–0 defeat to Everton FC has only intensified the situation, making a major decision feel increasingly inevitable. 👀
🚨🔵 Liam Rosenior on Chelsea plans for future: “We’re having really detailed conversations now about the areas we want to strengthen”.
“We’re very aligned — which is very exciting for Chelsea future”.
So many coming 4 Rosenior but surely missing the issue;
RECRUITMENT!
No clear plan, No identity. A squad built without cohesion or EXPERIENCE 2 compete, yet the gaffer continues 2 take the fall
We can keep rotating managers 🤷🏼♀️ but until recruitment is fixed, nothing changes!
Why can’t John Terry be involved in the first team set up? He knows what it means to be Chels, he would demand the highest of standards but ofc the ownership nowhere the first team
@tessderry1 I don’t even feel like they were sacked, they all told the owners that the conditions put in place were not conducive to winning and left by mutual consent. And they were all correct. No manager with a brain takes that job. Owners and SD cannot admit they are wrong
This isn’t even Rosenior’s fault. This is a severe issue with ownership. How could they justify putting him in as manager when he’s this out of his depth?
Tuchel - sacked
Poch - sacked
Maresca - sacked
Vulgar ownership with no clue whatsoever. What’s next?
@ConnCFC Are there any other owners who could buy a club in London, with a £2 billion war chest, who had just won the CL and employed one of the best coaches in the world and within 4 years field a team like the one today 🤷🏻♂️😂🤦🏻♂️ (oh and record the highest losses ever recorded)
@ConnCFC Agreed. As shit as the players have been if they’re not having you it’s time to go. A managers biggest priority is getting the players on board. He hasn’t been able to do that sadly. I actually think he’s a good coach but he talks too much shit and he’s lost the players
@siphillipssport Doesn’t solve all the problems but it solves some. This guy isn’t the one and that’s not his fault… but he isn’t good enough. If the players aren’t having you you’re cooked.
Every time it’s ‘sack the manager’ but that is forever putting a plaster on the problems. Sanchez has never been good enough to be Chelsea number one and I have said that consistently. Anyone who’s ever thought any different shouldn’t be involved in football.
This team has absolutely fuck all about them. When you buy and play utter shit players and have a Championship level (at best) manager this is the result.
If you'd have given £2bn to any other team, they'd have spent it much much better than we have.
🚨💣 Chelsea secured Liam Rosenior on a 6.5-year contract until June 2032. ⚠️🔵👀
The deal includes key protection clauses for the club. If sacked early, Rosenior will not get his full remaining salary.
— Estimated compensation payout: £4m – £10m (capped)
— Significantly less than the full contract value
This structure was brought in after Chelsea spent over £36m in compensation on previous managerial sackings.
@90sPlayers I look at this and it just reinforces my view that top level football has dropped off massively. No combination of teams in a World Cup final today fields anywhere near the number of world class players as this. PL has dropped off. CL has dropped off
