The very largest cruise ships can accommodate more than 4,000 passengers. A battery capable of replacing this amount of energy would need a capacity of 500,000 kilowatt-hours. This corresponds to a weight of 2,500 to 3,000 tons. This calculation takes into account that energy from a battery can be utilized much more efficiently than the energy contained in marine diesel fuel. The major advantage of a cruise ship is that this mass can be stowed with relatively little effort. Wer hat Bock auf Dreisatz? Wenn der 10% Biogas 16€ Mehrkosten pro Monat bedeuten, wie viel Mehrkosten verursachen 100% Biogas? Wie werden sich Mehrkosten entwickeln, wenn die Nachfrage um mehr als den Faktor 10 steigt und das Angebot nicht gleichmäßig mitwächst?

Seit #PHEVs auf die Straßen kamen, war meine Ansage dazu ganz klar: das ist reiner Betrug, um die Flottengrenzwerte zu manipulieren. Der Artikel unterstreicht die Aussage zweifelsohne. Es war von Anfang an klar, wofür diese Fahrzeuggruppe gebaut wurde. 🤷‍♂️

The error cannot be cleared using OBD tools, not even with Vediamo / DTS Monaco engineering tools, because there is no command available to reset the counter. Consequently, even the highest level of authorized service using Xentry cannot reset it. The BMS system is similar to those used in the Smart 453, EQC, and other Mercedes-Benz hybrids. Very often, this issue is actually a firmware bug: for example, a weak 12V battery can cause a 5V power glitch that corrupts the EEPROM, or the system may detect a fault that does not actually exist (as seen on the 453 EQ, for example, where after error “driving not possible” and after towing the vehicle later drives normally again). We opened the battery, identified a possible root cause, restored the battery, and performed an SPC processor firmware recovery. The vehicle started again, with the contactor counter error cleared. The method is invasive and requires a programmer. The cells are healthy, the vehicle continues to operate, the owner was spared €8,000 in costs, and miners were “saved” from digging new cobalt. Underwater rugby uses a ball carried by hand into baskets, no sticks, in deeper pools. The video shows sticks and bottom-focused play—classic hockey!
