@cfriss216 Hey to each their own, just because I think it needs updating doesn't mean anyone else has to agree!

There are a lot of reasons to like the Moncton Wildcats, and I do. The coaches, the players, their colours, the new arena...so much.
But I am sorry, the logo is NOT one of them. #QMJHL
For me, it's the answer to the question: "What if Kirill Kabanov was a cartoon cat?"

@LarryFisherTPHG @SagueneensLHJMQ @WHLsilvertips @OHLRangers @Kelowna_Rockets @CanadianPress Great field and some teams that haven’t been there in a while!

The Memorial Cup field is officially set now with Chicoutimi @SagueneensLHJMQ joining Everett @WHLsilvertips, Kitchener @OHLRangers and host @Kelowna_Rockets for the tournament starting Friday and running through the 31st.
I will be covering the tournament for @CanadianPress!

Did @ESPNPlus cancel showing the IIHF World Championship that starts tomorrow. Select games are on the NHL Network but the other games used to be shown on ESPN App. Anywhere to watch the other games? I don’t get TSN in the states.

Disclaimer: This post is for math purposes only. Please, I beg you, spare me the "they forgot how to play hockey" replies.
#CBJ path is becoming more bleak — but also more clear. A few notes:
* Believe it or not, CBJ cannot be mathematically eliminated Saturday. They will still be alive when they hit the ice Sunday at home, even with a regulation loss Saturday in MTL.
* CBJ can't get WC2 unless they win out and the Sens lose out. Given OTT's schedule, not likely. According to MoneyPuck, the odds of WC2 are 0.4%.
* That means, for all intents and purposes, we can ignore DET and OTT from here out.
* Third in the Metro is the path. How do the Jackets get it? The easiest way starts with winning out, which would put them at 96 points. Here's where the "if's" come in:
* If they win out, WSH — who would by default lose to CBJ — would be eliminated.
* If they win out, both NYI & PHI would both need at least one regulation loss in their final three.
* There's a minor caveat here. Just one regulation loss by PHI (if they win their other two) would mean both teams finish at 96. In this scenario, CBJ would need at least one of their three wins to be in regulation to ensure they have the Regulation Wins tiebreaker.
* So how do they stay mathematically alive for Sunday even with a worst-case scenario Saturday? Wins by PHI & NYI would put them at 94 and 93, with CBJ at 90. If CBJ won their last two (in regulation) and PHI/NY lost their last two in regulation, it would be 94-94-93, with CBJ holding the tiebreaker over PHI (94) on regulation wins. Very, very, outside chance — which is why winning out is the (far) more realistic (though still not likely) way in.

@AdamRedmann2 @RyanStieg This has to be the answer as far as the last 15+ years. I saw that team live in Schenectady that year and Ghost was a treat to see. No disrespect to Yale in 2013 but that Union run was special for me.
