Today in Abuja, @IITA_CGIAR signed an MoU with Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Youth Development to launch the Youth in Agribusiness Land Trust Fund (YALTF). The initiative will transform 42 Youth Development Centres into Agribusiness Hubs, giving young Nigerians access to land, skills, finance, and markets. Over the next three years, the programme aims to train 6 million youth and support 500,000 agribusiness enterprises. Africa’s agricultural transformation will be driven by its youth—and IITA is proud to help build a future where young people become business owners and employers of labour. #YouthinAgribusiness #Nigeria #TransformingAgriculture
