@yosp@92_Phalanx I don’t think there’s anything wrong with what you said and it doesn’t hurt your legacy at PlayStation. We all know what happened under Ryan, going ‘all in’ on live service games has set PS Studios back years.
Shu-san, suena muy extraño eso de que te despidieron por negarte a 'cosas raras' de Jim Ryan. Está fuera de lugar ventilar algo así de esa manera; no le hace bien a tu legado ni a PlayStation. @yosp
Shuhei Yoshida says he was fired from being head of PlayStation first-party by Jim Ryan because he didn’t listen to him!
“I helped Santa Monica to make God of War, Naughty Dog to make Uncharted and The Last of Us, and Sucker Punch to make the beautiful Ghost of Tsushima. Ghost of Tsushima was one of the last games that I worked on as the president of Worldwide Studios.
But in 2019, after 11 years leading the first-party development, I was fired from the role.
Jim Ryan wanted to remove me from first-party because I didn’t listen to him. He asked to do some ridiculous things, and I said ‘No.'”

So far, Sony has removed 3,871 PS Store titles this year alone under ‘Hinshitsu Kanri’. This is to reinforce quality control, brand integrity and platform standards.
@joesocial001@StarfieldGame@JayDook Yes, 2 and a half years ago when it was a new game. It was also on gamepass so people could play it without paying full price.
@joesocial001@StarfieldGame@JayDook the Premium Edition is £60.99 on PS5 and the game came out well over 2 years ago, they were never going to charge full price for it.
You just gave a massive middle finger to the Xbox platform and player base.
£50 with all dlcs for ps and £69.99 to Xbox without any updated content.
You’re last ip that gave Xbox relevance and you gave it away.
You just list a 27 year Xbox consumer.
You screwed up the 12k hours I put into eso.
I promise you I will boycott anything Xbox and Bethesda going forward
@solid_slug1984@PlayStation Yeah hopefully there’s some decent PS5 Pro upgrades. I played it at launch on Series X and it didn’t live up to expectations but I still enjoyed it.
@chalky83@PlayStation Awesome I didn't know if it didn't or not as im sure I read that when people were kicking off with it not been on release they said it was impossible. Wonder if PSSR 2.0 works on it. Can't wait to play it again. Looks like it had loads added to it.

@DetectiveSeeds@tylerdurdensgun Where are you getting this? The graphic modes are not new and have been there for awhile. So I’m curious where you are hearing that they are utilizing PSSR 2
NetEase has decided to suspend the studio operations of Nagoshi Studio, the team behind Gang of Dragon, at the end of May.
The team is now looking into alternates to try and keep the project alive.
Bro, NetEase is a Chinese company that actually decided to pull funding from many international studios. In this particular case, Nagoshi Studio needed an extra 7 million to finish their project.
Some additional facts about NetEase:
-NetEase’s decision to significantly scale back its international game development operations, following years of investment in new studios around the world.
-The move has caused chaos across its international operations, with several studios being forced to close, and others seeking new funding.
-In addition to the initial closure of T-Minus, FPC, and Bad Brain, NetEase split from Vancouver-based Worlds Untold, the studio it founded with Mass Effect writer Mac Walters in 2023, as well as Seattle-based Jar of Sparks, the studio founded in 2022 by Xbox veteran Jerry Hook.
-Ouka Studio, the Tokyo-based developer behind Square Enix’s Visions of Mana, was also closed in 2024. Other Japanese studios, like Goichi Suda’s Grasshopper Manufacture and Resident Evil producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi’s GPTRACK50, have pushed ahead with release plans without NetEase’s continued support.
