The problem with Americans—from the perspective of those all-seeing Europeans—is that they’re "stupid" and can’t see what’s obvious to Europeans (who, for their part, always see the true reality). Americans are incapable of thinking about an action before carrying it out; they act like they pee: according to the urgency of the moment.
Which explains why the US has held the #1 spot worldwide in every field for a century🇺🇸

@bundeskanzler Well, that's a big change from talking about US humiliation.Did Trump get your attention?Between the two countries, the only country humiliated was Germany. Remember when Germany made its groveling unconditional surrender demanded by the US. American officers refused handshakes.
The United States is and will remain Germany‘s most important partner in the North Atlantic Alliance. We share a common goal: Iran must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.

German military spending:
- 2021 🇩🇪: 50bn EUR
- 2027 🇩🇪: 145bn EUR
That’s a plus of 190% within 6 years.
There is no reason for the U.S. 🇺🇸 Administration to be mad at Germany. We did our homework and we pay our dues.
Zelensky waited too long.
Throughout 2025, the President of Ukraine tried to win Trump’s favor — and now he is no longer willing to wait.
Ukraine is building a new axis: Turkey as a mediator, Europe as the main defense partner, and joint weapons production replacing hopes for U.S. military aid.
A new European security architecture is being shaped without U.S. commitments at its core. Kyiv is no longer tying its future to Washington.

P.S. In just over a year, that orange scarecrow has turned America into an unreliable and deceitful ally. Even the birds on the trees know that the U.S. will come out of Trump’s second term weaker and far less respected. Restoring international trust will be nearly impossible.

The troop withdrawal is not a military decision. It is a political weapon.
Trump is selling the cuts domestically as America finally stopping its subsidy of a country that refuses to pull its weight. Every German criticism of his Iran strategy becomes fresh ammunition for the next round of punishments. The loop is deliberate. The outrage is the policy.
Merz is playing a harder game than he appears. Berlin signaled it saw the cuts coming, which was not an admission of weakness but a refusal to be blackmailed. Germany will not commit new forces to Hormuz. It will not validate Trump’s Iran strategy. It will rearm on its own terms, expand the Bundeswehr to 460,000 personnel, and wait Washington out.
And if the pressure continues, Berlin has one card it has not yet played. Ramstein Air Base. The satellite relay that makes American drone operations possible across Africa and the Middle East. The command hub for 104 countries. Germany cannot be forced to keep it open. Opposition voices in the Bundestag are already asking why it should. Washington is disciplining Berlin with troop cuts. Berlin could answer with something Washington cannot replace.
What Berlin fears most is not the troops leaving. It is being locked into a confrontation with both Russia and Iran that serves American geopolitical priorities and no one else’s. Germany has a domestic audience that is exhausted after Ukraine and Gaza and has no appetite for a third front.
The deeper pattern is what European analysts are calling hybrid pressure. Troop cuts, public attacks on German leadership, open support for far-right parties across the continent, pressure on Greenland. The military dimension is one instrument among several, all pointed at the same target: a Europe disciplined enough to follow Washington’s lead on Iran, Russia and China without asking inconvenient questions.
Berlin’s answer, so far, is to keep asking them.

- Kaja Kallas:
"Washington is not trying to manage Europe. It is trying to dissolve it.
They do not like the European Union,...
The tactics, resemble those used by the EU's adversaries..
The answer is not bilateral deals with Trump. It is unity. Because when Europe stands together, it is an equal power. And that is exactly what Washington cannot stand."

Kaja Kallas claims Washington wants to "dissolve the EU" and Europe should reject bilateral deals with Trump. That's rigid and undiplomatic.Finland's President @alexstubb
sees it differently. In his April CBC interview:
“Finnish US relations are actually very close. The Trump administration doesn't love international institutions. But it does like transactional bilateral relations and I feel that our relation with the US on a bilateral level is very good.”
Pragmatism strengthens Europe. Alarmism weakens it.

Kaja Kallas: US wants to divide Europe using tactics used by the EU’s adversaries.
“What I think is actually important for everybody to understand is that the US has been very clear that they want to divide Europe. They don’t like the European Union.”
Every day confirms Washington’s growing hostility toward Europe.

@JewishWarrior13 So she thought the German Furher could disrepect the US, and we would stay?Recall that when Germany was forced by the US to make its groveling unconditional surrender, US officers refused to shake their hands under orders from the US Supreme Allied Commander. That's humiliation.
🚨 NATO spokesperson, Alison Hart: We are working with the US to understand the details of their decision regarding the American forces stationed in Germany. It appears NATO was caught off guard by the announcement tonight of the American move to withdraw 5,000 soldiers from Germany.
