I don't know why this needs to be clarified, but: -A consistent Top 10 team with 3 Sweet 16s in 5 years IS BETTER THAN -A team with a flukey Elite 8 in 2026 after decades of irrelevance 🌪🌪🌪

The Big 12 is closer to the AAC than the Big Ten. The bottom 13 of the Big 12 is basically the same as top 11 of the AAC. @grok: How does the combined median average of the top 11 members of the AAC compare to the combined bottom 13 of the Big 12 conference based on sagarin in 2025?

It's 10x easier to get 9 conference wins in the Big 10 vs the Big 12. Imagine having to play Rutgers, Maryland, Purdue, Northwestern, & Minnesota. That's 5 guaranteed wins per season. Cupcake conference.

I don't understand how programs like Rutgers, Maryland, Purdue, Minnesota can all make $76M and still claim broke and not field teams that compete. Those bottom Big Ten teams made more money than the top teams in the SEC. What are they doing with their money?

Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby, who is under NCAA investigation for making bets via a gambling app, has retained the noted lawyer Jeffrey Kessler to try to regain his college eligibility, sources tell me and @PeteThamel. If Sorsby and Kessler are unsuccessful in finding a path to eligibility, declaring for the NFL’s supplemental draft then would become an option. Sorsby would have until June 30 to declare for the supplemental draft.
