@DaveShouldBShot All they’ve done for the past week is cry. ISU fans were more worried about Iowa making the elite 8 than they were their own teams game the next day. That’s because Iowa owns ISU.

@CyclonePower40 @clones2thebone C’mon, you can’t possibly assume Iowa State is replacing Lipsey Jefferson next season. And no, he can’t dramatically improve his weaker areas in one year. He can make improvements, but he is the type of player he is. And his athleticism is capped.

@humads @clones2thebone If you assume there will be less talent (I doubt it), and the NBA scouts won’t be concerned about the shooting at all. He can DRAMATICALLY improve a couple things, not just marginally. He will get the feedback he needs to decide

Yes, he can marginally improve certain skills. But he can also revert back to his 3-point shooting percentage the 2 yrs before (36&39%) & become undraftable. With less talent around him next season, it will be a challenge to pull off another season like ‘26. Either choice he makes is a gamble.

@humads @clones2thebone He absolutely can get stronger and improve his ball handling skills and ability to get his own shot. There will be concern about his ability to defend one on one against perimeter players too. I think he will be a very good NBA player eventually, NIL $ changes things too now

@CyclonePower40 @clones2thebone Agreed. It is standard process. But part of that process is determining what another year in college can do for his draft stock. Seems to me it will be difficult for him to improve on what he did this year. He has to know the downside is real.
