Malaysia has officially purchased LIG D&A's K-SAAM sea-based interceptor missiles for the three ADA-class based new corvettes, and this contract marks another achievement for LIG, following the mass sales of the M-SAM-II system to Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Iraq. K-SAAM is characterized by its ease of integration with main combat systems and platforms, and the fact that it can be operated with only a simple missile command transceiver, a console, and a small space for a dedicated (shortened) KVLS. (One KVLS-I cell can store four K-SAAM rounds.) It is also relatively inexpensive and offers excellent performance by using sensitive dual seekers. The contract is worth $94 million, but the details of the contract are unknown. Well, it would be ideal if the Philippines, Peru, or Thailand, which operate South Korean-made naval combat platforms, were to order K-SAAM in the future. If Malaysia is looking for a medium-range SAM system, LIG's M-SAM-II ballistic missile interceptor system, which has recently proven its performance, would be a suitable choice. If you want long-range, high-altitude missile interception capabilities, L-SAM is also an excellent option. Including the systems I mentioned, other air defense weapon systems are also ones that LIG is consistently promoting in Malaysia.

While reasons for maintaining communal harmony may compel a Govt to take deterrent measures, no one can be punished for speaking the truth. Would urge CM Pramod Sawant ji & national BJP leaders to treat the case based on this truth. Yesterday, a small prototype aircraft of a brand new design from LAT Aerospace crashed into a wheat field near Saifai during a ground roll test. Strong winds caused loss of control, and immediate crash. We’ve reached out to the farmer whose crop was damaged and have already ensured full compensation for their loss. We’re early in development. Crashes are part of building aircraft. We’ll learn from this, tighten our test protocols, and keep going.
