I hate when someone walks into your trap and they get lucky ass fuck. 2/5 game 6 handed, Hero raise UTG AA $15, Bb makes it $60, I 4bet rip all in I cover him by a little bit. Flop KT57, River T Buddy has KTss 🤬

@GodMode248 1. That wasn't a trap 2. How much was the all in for? 3. I love when people call my 4b jams with 18% equity 4. Sorry you lost 4. Hate the game, not the player

I've been doing this for so long that I didn't know I could still be shocked, but I am *genuinely* stunned how many people are lying about Pretti "interfering" or "obstructing," and how many 2A folks are suddenly framing the right to carry as some implicit threat. Shameful.

I am filled with immense gratitude for the experiences & memories I made with @PokerStarsUSA / @PokerStars & although our relationship has come to an end, I will always be honored & humbled that I was bestowed the privilege of their patch. Special thanks to @Stapes & @J_Hartigan, sharing the booth with y’all was surreal. And to the stream team @spraggy, @MarleSpragg, @ArlieShaban, @peace_ndloove, @EasyWithAces & the mods who helped me build my channel from scratch. Thank you to the New Jersey/Michigan players who grinded so many hours beside me, I’ll miss our tussles. I’m coming back home to Texas now

As a poker community we are so excited anytime a woman makes a run at the main event. It’s the talk of the community and we all root united for her. The rest of the year if any female says anything or does anything with a few exceptions of the top 5-10 highly (deservedly) respected/admired, they get piled on by any one with an account. It’s ok to let females share their perspective on issues even if it might be wrong 🤯. They are coming in this industry with a different past and a different future than many of us. We have chewed up and spit out so many could be rising stars from a personality and player perspective ganging up to immediately explain to them their flaws. Some of the biggest male voices in our industry say stupid stuff on the regular. They promote themselves in ridiculous ways. They are just flat out wrong many times. They are either ignored or have a few back and forth and people forget. They blend back in. Meanwhile women get completely ostracized and run from what might or might not be a promising role in our game. Anyway, when weighing the options of piling on or not maybe take a step back and sit one out every once in a while. Happy Thanksgiving ☮️ ❤️

@CaitlinComeskey @mkonnikova 💯: AI for personal tinkering can be fun! I’ve been having a great time feeding Suno the songs I’ve written (without AI) and hearing its covers. But even under those parameters, I’d never publish the product as something I created myself 🤖

@mkonnikova Great read. Using AI for creative work is not it. The pace of the algorithm demands quick turnaround I get it. But I would never be okay outsourcing my creativity to technology. I'm proud of our community for standing up against its use.

Normally, I ignore poker Twitter drama. But not when it involves the use of AI in creative work. That one, I can't sit out. My latest, link below.

I had the pleasure of meeting Danya at a tournament in Charlotte, and what struck me was how much he cared about having a positive impact on his students. He was such a kind and humble person. Thinking of his family and loved ones 💔

My poker hot take is that bad beat stories aren’t the problem; most poker players are just horrible storytellers 🙃

They told me to try to make a wheel; I have four on my car? 🚙 I think I won a pot by accident that day at @LodgePokerClub. But I thought it seemed fun, so I went home and played micro-stakes online. Now it’s my best game 🤓

The first time I played Big-O was when I was new to poker and thought “Big-O” was a cute name for a NLH tourney. They dealt me my two cards, and then three more 🤔 “This is Big-O.” “…I don’t know what that is.” “5-card Omaha hi-lo.” “I don’t know any of those words either.”

Share a piece of poker lore about yourself ❤️♦️♠️♣️ I’ll start: one time I was playing a cash game with Don Cheadle at the Commerce, and after a series of probably irresponsible but exciting bluffs, he looked at me and said, “I’m just enjoying the show man”.

@julesgambit In 1st grade, I decided to just sit and *think* instead of playing at recess. Finally, my teachers insisted that I play with other kids. I argued that didn’t make sense - if I had been bad, I’d get put in time out and then I’d be allowed to think. They made me play 😠

Just a reminder that it would take around 20 cans of Coke Zero per day to hit the FDA’s aspartame safety limit. And even that amount is still considered safe for daily, lifelong use. Your 1–2 cans a day aren’t hurting you. Relax.
