Incredibly honoured to receive the King Charles III Coronation Medal today in the Senate Chambers from Canada’s 16th Prime Minister, Joe Clark, and Senator Peter Boehm. It was a wonderful ceremony! This award certainly belongs to many, both near and far (you know who you are!)

@EmishawEskedar It takes two to make Peace. If the Govt of Ethiopia had the empathy to recognize the lived experiences of Amhara, feel the pulse of their pain and hopes, and listen to the cries and whispers of the Amhara region, this torrent of death and destruction could have been averted.
