We call on King Charles III to do the right thing and refuse to sign the extremist full-term abortion bill into law.
Only 1% of the public support it.
This is a chance for the monarchy to show they stand with the British people against radicals.

@MarkMac200363 @tag4UK I've worked in care for over 20 years and only known what OP said once. More than likely your mom is in good hands
English

@tag4UK I find this very upsetting my Mum has recently been put into a care home and the day staff are so kind and understanding and take great care of my Mum,I really hope that in most cases this is not true as I will horrified if this is the case at night-time.

8pm handover, a new shift has begun.
All around the country, elderly residents are being shoved into bed, some will ask if they can stay up for a bit, many will be told no.
Some will spend the night in the same clothes they have worn all day; they’ll be double padded so they don’t need to be changed through the night.
Sensor mats will be pulled out so they don’t alarm, doors will be closed.
By 11pm, more than half of the staff looking after your family member will be asleep in the lounge.

@dripgrillionair @NoahRevoy My grandfather regularly beat my grandmother within an inch of her life, made her work three jobs while raising 7 children because he was busy drinking the money she earned. Life wasn't all unicorns and roses in the past, mate
English

@NoahRevoy My grandmother was the same. Had ten children. Didn’t let my grandfather do anything at home because if he wasn’t rested and healthy, then he couldn’t work and they would all die.
English

My great great grandmother would be digging potatoes and herbs in the garden while nine months pregnant. She would go into labor, have the baby in the garden, wrap the baby in her shawl, and then come back into the house with the potatoes in one hand and the baby held against her chest with the other. It was just another normal day for a woman who had sixteen children.
Our ancestors often did far more than we can imagine. They complained less, and in many ways they seemed happier and more joyful.
Yes, they had community and support. But every other woman in that community was also having many children. The help they received had to be returned later to the next woman who needed it.
I think the difference is that our ancestors accepted that discomfort was part of life. They believed it was acceptable to suffer for a worthy purpose, and they made those sacrifices willingly. Because they chose it willingly, and had gratitude for what they did have, it did not drain them of their joy.
May we all honor our ancestors by becoming more like them, by imitating their positive attitudes, their determination, and their toughness.

@TrueTeller2024 @pittparents @ethical_care @MattWalshBlog @FoxNews @POTUS @DoNotHarm @RealCandaceO @AAGDhillon @Linda_McMahon @ADeutschLaw I'd have top surgery if it was free, just because you don't agree it doesn't mean others shouldn't get the option

6/ 26/2023
Pediatric visit
Height: 5’7
Weight: 152 lbs
8/6/2024
Height: 5’7
Weight: 192 lbs
40 lbs gained in 1 year.
Among Ilene’s belongings that I received from Rider University after her death, there was a whiteboard where she had written that she needed to fill out papers for top surgery. When I went to that office last year, I discovered that Ilene had been scheduled for a double mastectomy. The surgery date was 12/23/2024. It was fully covered by Medicaid. Free.
At the time, I thought that since she never made it to that surgery, there was no reason to request their medical records. But about 2 months ago I decided to ask for them.
And now they are here.
I have a white envelope in front of me. Several pages. I may talk about the contents later, but right now I just want to say how painful this moment is.
Among those pages are printed medical photographs of my girl — naked pictures of her torso taken for surgical documentation. It is incredibly painful to see them. I know she is no longer with us and nothing can change now, but a mother’s heart does not work by logic.
Looking at those photos, I can see how much her body had changed. She looks so much bigger.
I can’t put into words what it feels like for a mother to see her child deteriorating and realize she could do nothing.
Nothing.
Because so many other people had stepped in — people who said they were helping her live her “authentic self.”People who supported her separation from me.
Rider University staff
Students around her
Her boyfriend Adam Duggan
Transgender pastor Aaron Miller
Therapist Carson Eckard
Connecticut DCF
Tang Soo Do coaches Dan and Jessica Hinman, whom Ilene called her “chosen parents.”
Endocrinologist Britta Shute, who prescribed my daughter testosterone
These were the people surrounding Ilene and involved in her life and care. Some of them actively supported her alienation from her own mother.
And yet, looking at these records, I see something deeply troubling.
On 6/26/2023, Ilene visited her pediatrician. My concern at the time was that she had a poor appetite and had lost about 10 lbs. At that visit her weight was 152 lbs. The pediatrician was not concerned because fluctuations of 10–15 lbs can happen.
For a young woman who is 5’7, a typical healthy weight range is roughly 121–158 lbs.
But a year later, when Ilene went to the surgical center for a consultation for a double mastectomy, her weight was 192 lbs.
40 lbs gained in 1 year.
What concerns me most about those 40 lbs is not just the number itself.
Sudden weight changes like that can often be a signal that something deeper is wrong.Rapid weight gain in a young person can reflect serious emotional distress, depression, medication effects, hormonal issues, or other underlying medical problems.
When I see that number, I cannot help but think that my daughter may have been struggling deeply during that time.
It makes me feel that she was very depressed.
And yet, despite all the adults around her — therapists, doctors, university staff, and the many people who claimed they were supporting her no one seemed to recognize that something might be wrong.
No one stopped to ask why her body was changing so drastically.
No one treated it as a warning sign that deserved attention.
So my question to DCF, to Aaron Miller, to Rider staff and students, to Adam Duggan, to therapist Carson Eckard, and to everyone else who surrounded my daughter during that time is simple:
If I am supposedly the careless and neglectful mother, where was your care for my girl?
How does a young person gain 40 lbs in a single year and nobody asks why?
Why did no one investigate what might be happening to her physically or emotionally?
Why did endocrinologist Britta Shute never even weigh my daughter, despite marking those appointments as “well visits”?
We hear so much about “standards of care.”
Or is the “standard of care” simply not caring at all?
Is that the standard?
After all — it was all free.

I can’t believe that the Lords are voting next week on whether to allow Abortion up until birth.
Why wouldn’t you just give the child up for adoption as this is a fully grown human being.
How & why this is even being discussed is sickening & it’s immoral.
Does anyone else thinks this is so wrong?
English

@harryfisherEMTP Fuck off, that didn't happen. Stop peddling this covid vax nonsense ffs

Paramedic call:
Me/paramedic- how long has your side been hurting like this?
Patient- pretty much ever since I got my last Covid shot. So about a year now. Been to the doctor over and over again.
Me- they tell you what’s wrong?
Patient- the doctor said I have cancer. I had a heart attack right after the shot and then this started happening. Now I’m taking chemo.
Me- you’re way too young to have all this happening to you. I’m so very sorry.
Patient- My Dad told me “God doesn’t give us what we can’t handle.”

@liz_churchill10 My only question then is why doesnt EVERYONE that got the jab get sick and /or die of hiv related stuff if it was in the jabs? Shouldnt the deaths an obvious contagion of HIV etc be 100% of all vaxxed? Yet so many tha took it are fine no problems and think they’re better off?

@sappholives83 And how many men that don't cross dress commit sex offences?
English

Yeah, Dylan, I am. I work homicide, and I’ve also worked sex crimes. Want to know how many sex offenses I’ve seen committed by men who like to crossdress?
It startled with so-called nuisance crimes when I was working patrol, like trespassing in women’s spaces to jerk off, or breaking into women’s homes to steal underwear, and goes all the way on up through possession of child sexual abuse material to multiple rape/homicides.
And people like you have given these predators not only access to women spaces, but camouflage, in the persons of the trans-identifying men whose fetishistic desires to crossdress _don’t_ include the sexual exploitation of women’s spaces and the violation of women’s bodies.
A woman has no way of knowing whether or not the transvestite in the bathroom with her is a predator or not, the same as with any other man, which is why we _had_ women’s spaces in the first place — so that we could use the fvcking bathroom without having to worry about the fact that we’re trapped in a flimsy box with one exit and our pants down.
Ah, the good old days — when women had rights, and a way to refer to ourselves that doesn’t also include men. Stealing a minority group’s ability to name themselves is an old colonizer’s trick, by the way — and that’s what your movement is - the colonization of womanhood by invading men, men who think they have the right to decide what it means to be a woman, simply because they want to be one. That’s not how it works — and deep down, you know that.

@darbella71 @Tablecloth123_ @iam_preethi No, that you don't need to breastfeed a five year old child
English

@Tablecloth123_ @iam_preethi Are you really suggesting mothers don’t start nursing their babies until the are 5?
English

My midwives never washed the white coating off my babies after birth.
They told me to leave it on as long as I could. With all three kids, I delayed the first bath for about a week.
That coating is called vernix. It starts forming halfway through pregnancy. It's antimicrobial, moisturizes the baby's skin, and has proteins that protect against infection. Babies born earlier tend to have more of it. Babies born later have less.
The WHO recommends leaving it on for at least 6 hours, ideally 24. Yet many hospitals still bathe babies within hours of birth.
Your baby spent months building that coating. Maybe don't wash it off in the first hour.

@SunkissedPurr @Etanarachel @jo_seye_ahh @GuddleG @strappyshoe @Cabrinigreen1 The amount of people who don't understand how Tourette's affects people is unreal

@Etanarachel @jo_seye_ahh @GuddleG @strappyshoe @Cabrinigreen1 That only explains the mechanism of tics, not the literal generation of words from his mouth. You imply that this condition creates the words he speaks, but it doesn’t force specific slurs, ideologies, beliefs, or timing. and I’m not convinced he didn’t say that intentionally.

@TedLogan1010 We didn't evolve from monkeys, we shared a common ancestor
English

I just watched the craziest sci-fi I’ve ever seen!!!
It was about this race of humans that were tricked into believing that they evolved from monkeys that came from an explosion of nothing.
Then they made them believe that they were on a huge ball spinning at over 1,000 mph in something called “space” so they wouldn’t bother to explore their world.
They even convinced these people to put products made of petroleum in the body and called it medicine.
They put poisons in brightly colored boxes and convinced people it was food.
Towards the end they started spraying people with chemicals from airplanes and convinced half the population to believe they always saw those lines in the sky.
The name of the movie was “2026”!
It was definitely entertaining but the plot isn’t even close the believable…. Right?
English

My dad is gay and wrestled with SSA most of his life. He disclosed this to my mom when they were engaged in the early 80’s.
He chose a heterosexual marriage, and served Christ his entire life. He and my mother taught me how to be follower of Christ.
He now enjoys a life with Christ as the center of it, with 15 grandchildren and counting. His faith, along with his children and grandchildren, are his greatest treasures.
