I think this one image sums up the disconnect between the fans and the players at the moment. What a difference a year makes in that regard. They’re all millionaires and just seem totally disconnected from reality these days. The away fans especially, invest so much time and money into following the club. They’ll stay until the end and give as much support as they can - but if they see a manager and team who look like they can’t be arsed then you’ll lose their support.
