How forex ruined my life in 2021..🥹💔
In 2021, I saved every naira I could to start a phone business. I skipped enjoyment, denied myself things I wanted, and lived like someone already broke just so my future wouldn’t be.
That money wasn’t just savings. It was hope. It was my way out.
Then forex came.
It looked intelligent. It looked strategic. It looked like something smart people were doing. Everyone online seemed to be winning. I told myself I wasn’t risking my business money… I was growing it.
At first, I won small.
And that was all it took to destroy me.
Confidence replaced caution. I started trading bigger. Staying up late watching charts. Ignoring warning signs. Believing I had control over something that was never in my control.
Then the losses started.
Slow at first. Then faster. Then brutal.
I watched months of sacrifice disappear in days. And when it was almost gone, I still didn’t stop. I kept trading, trying to win it back, trying to undo what I had already done.
I lost everything.
Not “almost everything.” Everything.
The money for my phone business was gone. My plans were gone. My pride was gone.
It got so bad I started selling my own things just to stay afloat. Things I once bought with excitement, I now sold with regret. Each sale felt like I was selling pieces of my past confidence.
Silence hit me after that. The kind of silence that forces you to face yourself.
I didn’t lose my money to forex.
I lost it to impatience.
To greed disguised as ambition.
To the lie that success must be fast.
That experience broke something in me… but it also built something.
Because now I know:
Anything that promises fast success can also deliver fast destruction.
I’m rebuilding now. Slowly. Painfully. But wisely.
And this time, I’m not chasing speed. I’m chasing stability.

@chartsmann @ZenithBank He just came back and after confronting him he was very rude to me, like supper rude .
And instead of him to ask me what my name is to attend to my transaction he kept my request aside and started treated the ones they just brought now.
I am sitting down here
