@HarryStebbings Great return for Emergence, but the better story is that the biotech industry needs more startups like Veeva to help streamline/reduce the cost of clinical trials and FDA approvals. Especially for all of the AI discovered drugs that we should start seeing in 2026 and beyond.

In June 2008, Emergence invested $4M into Veeva Systems. On the day of Veeva’s IPO (April 2013), Emergence held a 31.1% stake. Veeva’s market cap today: $47.5BN. Wow.

Wi-Fi on commercial flights should be purchasable as an attachment offering at the point of initial ticket sale and should just work on your devices when you get on the flight. Airlines know how to nickel and dime better than most so it’s surprising they haven’t figured this out yet. So much wasted time attempting to connect each flight. @Starlink please solve this in addition to faster/more reliable connection.

Didn’t buy my Tesla as a political statement. But if owning one offends those praying for its downfall due to the CEO devoting himself to eradicating waste/fraud/abuse and rightsizing our country’s spending because it’s ultimately an existential threat to America as we know it, then I’m extremely happy to make that statement. I sincerely hope this is a very small minority of crazy and misguided people who feel this way. I also hope folks can see past their TDS/EDS and recognize that we’re ripping bandaids that have been long overdue.
