@fesshole I remember staying with my cat when the vet injected her, and her last act was to headbut me gently 😭 would take that any day over leaving any of them alone

Vet here, if you bring in your beloved pet for it's final time and you walk out of the room, we do judge you, the fear in that pets eyes when you leave it is worse than the actual euthanasia. I waive the fee for owners that stay. It's not often enough though.

I'm having a massive moment of doubt. I've had a couple more 3 star reviews; I'm not complaining, but reading what they wrote I'm thinking: "Were the 5 star reviewers just being nice?" Maybe my book is just average after all.

@JonIzzard @fesshole Depending on the allergy, too - halloumi is typically a cypriot cheese made with goats and ewes milk. However, most places will also add cows' milk as a cheaper alternative

@fesshole I’d be asking that. I don’t know what halloumi is, and I’m allergic to cheese. So I would ask and you can have a good sneer

As a chef I keep an internal leaderboard where I score all the stupid questions the front of house staff come to ask me. It's been 5 years and no one has been able to take "is there cheese in the halloumi" off of the top spot
