@cheekyphuzz777 @leonkiriliuk @JTaylorPro I have no idea, I have never used an AES+. But my MVS NeoSD Pro does not work on my AES with the Furrtek MVS to AES adapter.

Don't buy an MVS 161-in-1 V2 cart to use with a Furrtek converter for your AES+. They have a design flaw that makes them only work on MVS. I'm probably the biggest buyer of these carts in the world (300+) To work on AES, the flash memory type and FPGA code needs to be changed.

This is so dumb... I'm looking more forward to the Neo Geo AES+ than I am to any PS6 or "Project Helix"... and there's no guarantee that it will deliver its promises. Also I already have 3 Neo Geos and there's so many other ways to play the games. Strange timeline!

It seems a lot of people think the recent AES+ will cause original Neo Geo game prices to drop. You can tell just by looking at the comments on my latest post. But I see it a bit differently. For example, the PlayStation 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition is functionally identical, yet it carries a completely different value compared to the standard PS5 Pro because of its rarity. Beyond price, I think the space of playing games and the space of collecting limited editions are entirely separate. A long time ago, there was an MSX computer released by Daewoo Electronics in Korea. It was produced in small quantities and traded at high prices. But years later, a large batch was discovered in an old warehouse, which diluted its rarity and caused prices to drop. Like that case, unless a large hidden stock of original Neo Geo games suddenly appears, I don’t think their value will drop easily—no matter how many remake. This isn’t just because I collect Neo Geo games. It’s the same logic as how, even if Nintendo remakes Super Mario Bros., it’s hard to imagine the price of new condition first-print copy—once sold for millions—suddenly dropping.
