Buried inside the Farm Bill is an amendment backed by 29 members of Congress that would effectively ban hunting with dogs nationwide. No hounds for bear, no rabbit dogs, no coonhunting, no field trials. It was pushed through on a voice vote, disguised as an anti-greyhound racing bill while the real impact on hunting was barely discussed. This is a direct attack on one of the oldest hunting traditions in America. We need to stop it now. Call your representatives and demand this amendment be removed from the Farm Bill. Blade process update : scale I'm now fully divorced and any future assets are mine and mine alone. This means I can invest more heavily into blade work. Future line up : same blades PLUS chef's knife, vegetable cleaver, paring /boot knife, wifie knifie (2 types), varying the habdles with and without notch. Alloys : CPM steels just got spendy due to tariffs. Still gonna send it. The field knives will be available in CPM 3V as well as A2 (cheap domestic option, still stupid tough). The kitchen stuff is all going to he Magnacut. The wifie knifie is probably going to be a mix (not sure, may fill spots on the steel sheets with it). Essentially I don't want to price people out of a good blade due to international politics. So the A2 versions will be a rougher finish (less labor) to keep the cost down. These are intended to be used like a shovel / axe / pry bar / boot cleaner. Beat the hell out of them. Finish : I'm considering doing a bit of cerakote over those heat treatment lines to give a "scratch and reveal" kind of finish over the grind lines. This will increase the corrosion resistance, and it's something I can do at home (unlike DLC coating). This also means I can tailor the cerakote finish color to the handle options. Example : white / black binlayer g10 handle with an iridescent white cerakote blade in a lighter colored kydex sheath. As this only adds like 10 bucks of material and some labor, I figure this is going to send well. Kydex : I'll keep doing the same old thing that y'all seem to like. I'm trying to bring the eyelets in a bit toward the steel, but sometimes it gets pretty pinchy in there. Eventually I need to make a pre formed press for this to standardize things. Future problems. Handles : I'm working with someone on CNC'd scales for consistency and labor reduction. These would be as easy as bolting them on. Easy day. This gets close to the build a Teddy bear thing in the mall. So that's the update for now. Drop any thoughts below on what I missed aside from making more blades to keep you people supplied.

Just saying, all that was done, besides damaging the solar panel and cutting the connector to the camera -- at least based on the photo -- is damaging the pole. The camera is still functional and salvageable. And was likely on the entire time. There's an internal lithium-ion battery that the solar panel charges. It occupies a bit more than the bottom half of the camera body housing. The camera maintains communication via a cellular modem. Lithium doesn't like exposure to air. It's why they combust when punctured. Do with this information what you will.

This is why RAM is so expensive.. and it's worth every penny...

Former FedEx driver pleads guilty to killing 7-year-old girl after making delivery at her Texas home A former FedEx driver pleaded guilty Tuesday to killing a 7-year-old girl after delivering a Christmas gift to her Texas home, where he told authorities he accidentally stuck her with his van and then strangled her in a fit of panic. Tanner Horner faces either the death penalty or life in prison in the 2022 killing of Athena Strand, whose body was found two days after she was reported missing in the rural town of Paradise, near Fort Worth. Jurors will now decide Horner’s punishment. “The only truthful thing that Tanner Horner told law enforcement was that he killed her,” Wise County District Attorney James Stainton said during opening statements. “The pattern and web of lies that he put together, it’s going to be hard for ya’ll to keep up with. It is lie upon lie upon lie upon lie.” As Athena’s stepmother testified, the jury was shown an image of Athena taken from a video inside the delivery truck. She was still alive and sitting on her knees behind the driver’s seat. Stainton said the scenario that Horner told authorities — that he hit her with his vehicle and panicked — is an “absolute lie.” He said she was uninjured when Horner put her into the vehicle. “The first thing Tanner Horner says to Athena when he picks her up and puts her in that truck, he leans down and he says: ‘Don’t scream or I’ll hurt you.’ He says that twice,” Stainton said. Stainton told jurors that the evidence in the case is “rough,” and they will watch video and then hear audio after the camera has been covered up. “You are going to hear what a 250-pound man can do to a 67-pound child,” Stainton said. “And when I say it’s horrible, I mean it.” He said Athena fought Horner, and his DNA was found under her fingernails. OK Japan Bros... time to talk about something I admire about your culture again, and ask a few questions about it! IDK how many are aware, but it was a Japanese man who created the art of "Aquascaping" which is creating aquariums which is combining flora, fauna, water flow, tank design and lighting and more to create living artworks, rather than simply a fish habitat for fish on your desk his name was Takashi Amano, and he was a professional photographer by trade. He is actually so famous that and so good at what he did that there is a Japanese native shrimp which can be found in nearly every serious freshwater enthusiasts tanks here in America because of it's AMAZING ability to keep the tank picture perfect clean. (Anybody else have Amano Shrimp?) he unfortunately passed away in 2015, just before I learned of his art... but I am a GREAT admirer of the videos and pictures I see of his personal tanks, which have been turned into a museum by his loving family and maintained in the same way he did while alive... I wish very badly to visit some day! His students still teach his style! i'd love to learn from one some day! I do a bit of nano aquascaping of my own... not right now.. we haven't started our tanks back up after the move, but some day when i get my current list of things to do done....
