Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Everton legend Duncan Ferguson to @CCCNHS – Liverpool, where he joined our weekly lunch club on the Teenage and Young Adult Ward – a space made possible thanks to your generous donations.

Duncan spent time chatting with patients and staff, signing books, memorabilia, and taking photos and to top it all off, he officially opened our brand new Teenage and Young Adult Ward on Level 2. A dedicated space designed to support young people through their cancer journey 💚

I should add for 3 days I've been trying to speak to @WUTHnhs. They're "too busy to speak"
When I said this is no longer acceptable, I was discharged for daring to speak up 😂
I had full & formal apology from the hospital boss at previous failings & all faults in care admitted

Waiting for triage. Unfortunately my next crisis, the protocol wasn't followed. Not only was I forced, while going unconscious, to wait for triage I also had to wait 29 MINS on a chair. DOUBLE the aim time for regular patients Now as I call for further meetings I get no response

Just want to say the response to my interview on living with Addison's Disease has been incredible. So overwhelmed & thankful
So many with the rare condition have messaged privately & I'll get back to everyone, just taking some time

There is no cure for Addison's & many medics don't know about it. I hope by speaking out we can get the vital message across about urgent treatment
I'll keep talking about it as much as I can to help others with this rare, life-threatening condition 2/2
