@rene_r2005 @aarnott @mkristensen Sorry for slow response, I don't use x much anymore. Hardware acceleration over RDP is not supported in WPF in .NET Framework, which is what VS 2022 uses.

#VisualStudio 2022 #Community issue. If after install the IDE you tried create a new project and received the next message: "error exception from HRESULT: 0x80040402", the solution is create the project from the File menu and not from the Start Page.

Loading up Visual Studio during a conversation to check something and was so disappointed with the time to solution readiness. Unable to return search results for file names while waiting for things like Copilot authorization. IMO local features should always be prioitized, fully loaded so I can interact with the IDE. I'm also confused. Does search not use the previous indexer from the last time the solution was opened or does it always reindex on solution load. It should be instant!

Why doesn't #visualstudio have a find in files function? There's not any good extensions that offer this. I might just build it 🤔😁😎🥸 For now notepad++ does a great job of finding text in files recursively, even find and replace all in files. #programming #Microsoft
