Here is a genuine scenario of an English cricketers #IPL salary breakdown assuming a £ 1mill Contract
£528,000 after tax
£125,000 (Agent)
£50,000 (County).
£353,00 is the take home pay after £1mill IPL deal.
Bethell’s IPL salary is £202,000. In contrast his Hundred salary is £340,000.
Yes he is earning well, but its not the cash cow that is being made out here, likely for ragebait and clicks.

However, only two of those dismissals (Lees & Bashir) were of batters who had played Tests in the last five years.
