@CryptoSy2 @minchoi you are right, they failed at everything and all the stuff they build are fake, including the trains, the phones, the roads, the ships, the electric cars, the solar panels etc etc. don't know why the whitehouse is so worried about China. everything is fake and propaganda anyway.
English

@Asternaut0x @minchoi copy what? vertical landing? should they do a side way landing so it is not a copy?
English

@herretrader @minchoi which part of the net catching belongs to space for them to steal?
English

This isn't really much different, just a different approach to how landing is accomplished. If you really use critical thinking you'll understand that the the Falcon 9 is superior in weight and payload capability. This is not a huge technological advancement. The Long March-10B is heavier with less payload capability, meaning it costs more to use.
English

@sociallion @jrxcket the highend stuff you buy these days (if you can afford it), are also from china, maybe stop shopping at walmart and temu for that cheap stuff for a change ?
English

@PaulAlan2000 Well, you’re in a foreign websites reading it 😉 airing clothing like this in big cities is pretty unique to China, btw
English

@laylawaaa @emmrzwl you didn't know because Korea was a vassal state of China historically.
English

@KseniiaBaziian traffic laws are much more strict in Shanghai then in New York! Only the scooters are problematic, not the cars.
English

China is my 61st country 🇨🇳
Starting my tour from Shanghai.
Here’s what impressed me so far:
1. Safe - police literally every 100 meters
2. Green - parks everywhere, riverside in blooming roses & daisies
3. Clean - cleaning cars roam the streets multiple times per day
4. Alipay is used for everything - from payments to taxi & translations, even tax free & messenger is there
5. Tourism built for Chinese, not foreigners. Almost no-one speaks English.
6. Crazy traffic - cars & motos don’t stop on green light for pedestrians
7. Robots cleaning the streets & delivering room service
8. Eclectic - very cool mix between local traditions & contemporary ideas

English

@KseniiaBaziian @stanlblue582291 you must be staying in some very local hotels then. There are plenty 4 star, 5 star hotels that speaks fine English. Those local hotels are mainly for domestic travelers.
English

@stanlblue582291 I meant service: restaurants, taxis, even hotels - very limited English
English

@Gitmo13 @Der569049049980 @KseniiaBaziian @grok ever heard of a credit score in the US? if you have a lower score of 450, you don't get any loans, cannot rent an apartment etc. This is the same system
English

@Der569049049980 @KseniiaBaziian @grok You see, they brainwashed you so hard, you start to lying to yourself
English

@KseniiaBaziian @chenweihua these are for crowd control, way too many people here. They are there to offer help mostly, not to surveil.
English

@WnjOyISjvTJC4gE @KseniiaBaziian if you go to work in Shanghai, your colleagues will speak enough english too. Most big cities in China at least have street signs or metro signs in English. In Shanghai or Beijing, where in the past most foreign travelers are expected, stations are announced in English too.
English

@chenha @KseniiaBaziian I agree with that but signs are in English in station, that is enough and some Japanese (of course my job colleagues) speak English enough.
English

@EricVreeland7 @CinematicEye_ you do realize this makes you sound like an idiot. what's your Experian credit score btw? probably below 400
English

@CinematicEye_ So if your social credits score is too low do you lose access to the skate park?
English

@Patton0604 i think you will love India. You should go to India if you haven't already. That place will suit your really well, all the men will be really nice to you.
English

@RyanozRyan @MarioNawfal i think if you experience a hospital visit in both country and then look at your bill, you will then know who is being treated like a cog.
English

So? Who gives a flip?
China CCP treats people as cogs in a surveillance machine, not humans worth flourishing.
We don’t beat that authoritarian nightmare by copying it.
America’s edge has always been freedom, creativity, and a society people actually want to live in—not just survive in.
There are many wonderful Nations that prove you can have real cultural depth and work-life balance without subordinating everything to tech supremacy.
Forcing a post-human grind “to beat China” is how we hand them the real victory. We get to choose what kind of future is worth winning.
You don’t need to be in a Tech Supremacy race at all.
English

🇨🇳 China just switched on the world's largest offshore solar farm
2.3 million solar panels. 2,934 steel platforms. 11,736 piles driven into the ocean floor. Built to survive force-11 gales and sea ice.
It sits 5 miles off the coast and powers 2.67 million people.
Oh, and they're also farming fish underneath it 😳
English

@waschatchsquach @B1B_Lancer @MarioNawfal no AC ? no jesus is probably right, but no AC? you really need to get out more. In fact, they have much better ACs than the ones sold in america.
English

@B1B_Lancer @MarioNawfal These are Chinese homes, not American homes. No AC, no Jesus, very little power required.
