@IrritatedOwl The more I watch of the tournament the more I’m convinced that the biggest difference between Temple and many of these teams is coaching. Outside of a few elite teams, our talent level is not that far off, if at all, from much of the field.

All I keep thinking about watching these close late games is the garbage plays Adam Fisher would draw up during a timeout

@IrritatedOwl When Tulsa finally went up late in the game I was ready to turn it off. That’s how much faith I have in Fish to get it done when coaching really matters.

Owls blow it and lose at Tulse 78-76. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Same story of Adam Fisher's tenure at Temple. He's a terrible in-game adjustment coach and terrible late in games

If AJ Brown wants to be traded to the Patriots the Eagles should make it happen for him He helped them win a Super Bowl. He’s been a huge part of the best run in franchise history. It’s his childhood team. Would be a classy move by the organization

@theowlsoutlet Fisher is just a symptom of institutional malaise. Should he lose his job? Of course, but unless you fire the AD and get a commitment from the university leadership you will always have Adam Fishers running the basketball program.

Adam fucking Fisher strikes again. It’s just funny to me at this point, but I truly feel bad for those who put their blood, sweat, and tears into this program. To have a dope like Fisher ruining it has to be a real slap in the face.

Owls in free fall and lose 4th in a row at WSU 69-57. Owls were down by 18 at one point. The American is not very good at all and the Owls have to players to win the conference. No excuses

The Adam Fisher Special: Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Bad loss for the Owls. Totally outhustled by North Texas. Visitors imposed their will. Temple left a ton of points at the free throw line. With two straight losses, Owls are in danger of falling into the middle of the pack in the American.

@IrritatedOwl I don’t disagree about North Texas defensive effort but you hate to see a team not guarding its house. Maybe a teaching moment in preparation for the tourney.

@cheprman Yeah but gotta respect N Texas effort on defense. They over defend at times but not many easy shot given up. Owls need to match that toughness

@IrritatedOwl The common denominator in all of this is Nick. I have been a supporter of Nick but usually, when there’s this much smoke, there’s also fire. And now you have to wonder if Dickerson’s contemplated retirement is related in part to Stout leaving.

I used to be a fan of Nick - but he is really killing the org. Wonder if Howie departs with him if next season is disappointing

@IrritatedOwl As someone who covered the Big 5 during its glory years and former President of the Herb Good Club Temple basketball is in my blood. Unfortunately, we have fallen almost to a point of irrelevancy and I’m not sure whether I should be frustrated, hurt or angry.

My favorite sport my entire life by far - college basketball - has generated little to no interest this season. Struggling to even have interest in my favorite sports team for decades Temple Owls mens bball.
