I always joked that I never saw the first drive of a 4PM Broncos game from 2002-2011. No matter what bar I was at, they couldn’t figure out how to get the game on until I asked. How is there not someone on top of this on NFL Sunday when that’s what your customers are there for?

Went to a sports bar today to watch the tournament. We'd been there before, good food, good beer. Walked in and they had zero tournament games on. "Working on it." After one beer they still had zero games on. Mostly baseball and football re-runs on the TVs...a few TVs with a tournament app on, but "free trial expired.". Obviously, we left. I still don't actually understand any of it. How do you own a "sports bar" and not plan on having all the games on all day on one of the most important sports days of the year?

Keep seeing old Temple clips pop up and I love it. Coach Chaney was a superb teacher. Taking care of the ball and knowing how to play his 2-3 match-up zone defense were essential.

25 years ago today: Temple with a complete beatdown of Texas in the first round of the 2001 NCAA Tournament. Quincy Wadley led with 26 pts despite dealing with flu symptoms. Owls led 41-22 (!) at halftime, with a Chaney approved ZERO first half turnovers

This is the wrong way to think about it. The pitch was a ball. If he'd swung at it, even if he made contact, his chance of getting a hit was vanishingly small, much smaller than the chance the umpire would correctly call the pitch a ball. Not swinging was the right play.

@RedsDaily4 @CharlieG__ Take the top ten in sprint speed. Divide them evenly, 1-3-5-7-9 vs 2-4-6-8-10. Have 1 team at home and 1 team at second. Each player runs around the bases and hands a ball to the next on their team. Relay race. Go.
