With a heavy heart I share the news of the passing of Chris Crane. Chris served on the @msichicago board for over a decade; his leadership kept MSI focused on advancing education, youth development, and entrepreneurship. My thoughts are with his family, his legacy will continue.

My heart goes out to the family of Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. She was a model of leadership, especially for women. She was my shero. I'm honored to serve on the Board of the Sandra Day O'Connor Institute for American Democracy and continue to support her life’s work and legacy.

I secured over $1 million to help the Museum of Science & Industry develop the educational programs and resources it provides to individuals across the region. Today, I visited the museum to see its new exhibits and learn how this funding will impact our community.
