@vincetspring1 @LoveMyMJ69 I would add that ethylene is the natural gas produced by fruits during ripening. Artificial banana ripening is just an acceleration, using the same gas.

@LoveMyMJ69 All bananas are harvested when the stalk is full. Organic bananas have to be grown in certified organic soil and without chemicals being used to prevent pests. But the ripening is similar to the normal "Musa" (the plant) variety. Cavendish bananas are your common ones.

I'll classify this with "If you lick a watermelon's stem you can tell if it's sweet". ALL BS!!
