@Rtfreese @ScoutingTheRefs I understand the rule to protect players. Lets say there's a major boarding that injures. What now cause play gets called back the boarding call never happened. Cant happen. I look at it like an after whistle roughing call. However penalty shot dosent make sense

@ScoutingTheRefs Garbage rule if the official makes the right call there is never a chance to commit the penalty so the team is penalized for the officials error

@BR_OpenIce Penalty shot makes absolute no sense. The goal is disallowed cause play should have never happened but will allow a penalty shot though it shouldn't have happened. A penalty can make sense, can say no different than after whistle penalty, but penalty shot makes no sense.

@AyeRishPirate Looks accidental His actions after are still very strange I would say its not ludicrous for the family to be saying it was intentional. Lost an officer who was a great officer by all accounts becuase of an officer who shouldn't have been. Very sad.

@FlowersAndHawks @AlCimaglia Keith was drafted by the Blackhawks in 2002. Seabrook in 2003. Sharp was drafter by flyers in 2001 and played 60 games with flyers before joining hawks. So by that standard Hawks should win a cup in 2031.

@AlCimaglia Keith, Seabrook and Sharp started playing in 2005. Five years later we had a Cup. We are currently 4 years into the rebuild and, by comparison, with the signing of Bedard in 2023, we should be winning a cup in 2028. Sure.

@mrAceBones Also for Lev vs Demidov, sure that looks like a miss now, but that doesn't mean Levshunov can't be an effective player. He's 20. For example Keith and Hjalmarsson didn't become NHL regulars until they were 22.

Alex Vlasic took a couple strides toward JT Miller after he laid out Levshunov but then didn't engage. I asked Vlasic why: "I checked over my shoulder, the ref had his arm up, so saw we had a power play. Looking back, I wish I did step in and do something there. I thought maybe we'd get one on the power play, it's a 4-2 game with 10 minutes left, and we have a chance to win."
