@Ben_Bradley_32 And here he is again - Reforms Twitter/X Secretary of State - with a mandate for sitting all day looking for negative comments. If only this much effort was put into saving critical services.

@Ben_Bradley_32 Ben, alongside your actual brief for Reform, have you also been given the keys to the X account? I’ve never seen anyone - influencer or otherwise - ‘tweet’ and comment as much as you - it’s like a full time job. It’s like your scouring negative comment and then responding.

The intent to mislead in some of these kinds of articles isn't even discreet. In reality the Council spent money to prevent its car park from collapsing due to subsidence, because it had become dangerous. There are also absolutely no plans to charge staff for parking. You could say the misleading headlines were due to misunderstanding the details or some other innocent mistake, if it weren't for the fact that: a) nobody contacted the Leader for comment b) the factual response from the Council appears last in the article below all of the opposition members spouting rubbish and c) if this journalist hadn't been spamming Councillors around the country literally asking them to dig around to find dirt on Reform. Really poor journalism, clear anti-Reform agenda, deliberate attempts to mislead the public. Shame.
Linden Kemkaran@LeaderofKCC

This article is a textbook example of how far parts of the mainstream media have fallen from serious journalism into sensationalised, agenda-driven gossip. The headline and tagline are deliberately misleading, designed to provoke outrage rather than inform. At no point did The Times contact me to check the facts. That omission is telling. Had they done so, the narrative they were so clearly keen to push would have collapsed. The reality is simple. The proposed staff parking charge appeared in an early draft of the budget as one of many options to be discussed. After Reform identified an additional £2.5m in savings, the proposal was removed entirely as it was no longer necessary. Kent County Council is not introducing parking charges for staff. The article also misrepresents the issue of the courtyard parking. This area had been used for decades by the Leader and senior staff, but was closed because it was at risk of collapse due to historic subsidence. Repairs were completed last year and the courtyard was safely reopened for allocated parking. There is nothing scandalous about that, unless one is determined to invent one. Perhaps most revealing is the structure of the piece itself. The council’s factual response is buried at the very end of the article, while comments from opposition parties are given prominence first. That editorial choice exposes the real intent: not to report the facts, but to land a cheap political hit. This is an embarrassing piece of journalism. It misleads readers, distorts routine budgetary processes, and attempts to manufacture controversy where none exists. Reform has saved money, protected staff, and acted responsibly. The only thing exposed here is how desperate some outlets have become to attack Reform at any cost.

@bigphil321 Hi Phil, thanks for flagging this concern. We wanted to explain how our pricing works. Our team of Pricing Analysts constantly monitor the value of used cars. This means that we may sometimes increases offers, as valuations are adjusted in line with current market data.

I was looking at an old car a couple of weeks ago.. Out of interest, I valued it with @webuyanycar they said £1,500. Last week, I got an email saying ‘great news’ the value had increased to £2,500. Just had another email saying it’s increased to £3,500.. What a rip off they are.

@currys seen a lot of negative towards you on here. Visited your Castle Marina store in Nottingham yesterday - purchased a washer and a dryer - Thomas was brilliantly helpful and processed my order quickly and with no fuss - thank you.

@dreeve43 @NFFC Interesting take ‘Deano’ - merely commenting that I prefer the sponsor - less shirt, question of taste I suppose.

@NFFC really poor form that even though I have a plain home shirt, you won’t allow me to exchange it for another size without having the sponsor on. Looks awful with sponsor. Refund it is and I’ll buy one from China at half the price with no sponsor on.

@LeeAndersonMP_ @reformparty_uk Watched the first 3 minutes, plenty enough - for every great orator we have a Lee Anderson. You seem fixated with Kahn and his apparent destruction of London, how many of those you represent in Ashfield really care what happens in the capital - I’d concentrate on here, Lee.

Angry Mob. Last night at @reformparty_uk East Midlands Conference an angry mob of work-shy, foul mouthed deranged looking socialists gathered outside. They were spitting, hurling abuse and one of our female pensioner supporters was jostled as she attempted to pass on her zimmer frame. We will never bow down to these fifth columnists. We will take our country. Here's my speech from last night. youtu.be/NDSOooaibMo?si…

@SUBWAY well done Subway, you’ve finally succumbed to the self service culture and ruined your whole experience - the counter was always your USP where you interacted with people rather than shite touch screens that don’t really work. @GreggsOfficial you’re the last man standing!

@ConnorHugh26 @SarcasticForest I didn’t realise Fulham are in the list of clubs who should keep their noses out and concentrate on their own business. Think the facts have been pointed out by others Connor so I won’t bother repeating. Best of luck for YOUR season. #NFFC

These lot do not give a fuck about ffp. You sign two players in CHO and Elanga that allow you to carry on with an already pricey squad and do ok. If they get relegated they are going to be more fucked than any team has been when going down.

🚨🇧🇷 EXCL: Nottingham Forest had formal bid rejected by FC Porto for Galeno, interest remains strong. Galeno, on Juventus list as new winger but they keep advancing on talks for Nico González deal with Fiorentina. Porto ask around €40m package add-ons included for Galeno.

I’ve got so many @B36 shirts to give away. Please reply with your preferred size, and if you’d want the home (white) or away (yellow). Also, do any five a side teams want a set of shirts to play in? Let me know.

@BBradley_Mans I’m assuming you’ve heard your gaffer speak recently - total nothingness and from a party that have had 14 years to fix the issues you claim in your own manifesto. Come on Ben, ‘levelling up’ etc - the definition of saying nothing. Enjoy your last few weeks as an MP.
