Who knows Eliud Lagats family, kids social media handles? I know they must be flexing their nepo asses somewhere on IG, we should make the social cost of what he did high and painful. He should not be allowed to live a normal life while the family of Albert is living with the consequences of their lawless actions. Public office should come with public accountability.

So Yesterday am on a Matatu from Ruaka heading to the CBD, Around village market this Muzungu guy backpacker type enters the matatu, He hands over a 1000 to the matatu conductor, the conductor sees it as an opportunity to fleece him! Starts kuji fanya hana change! The Muzungu is like come on! take Shs 50 give me back my change! It goes on.. as we reach Ngara still pretends he has no change! Muzungu is like come on! give me back something then! All the while everyone is silent, finally i have heard enough! i propose to pay for him via Mpesa, conductor is like *'wacha kihehere!' i* check my backpack & i find some coins i hand them over to the Muzungu, finally the conductor has to give back the Guys Money. Why are we like this? We third world people? No wonder someone said we have no third world countries just third world people! - Am sure the same could have happened in any third world shit hole! This guy is here to explore our country & all we do is take the slightest opportunity to con / fleece them. We have a long way to go as a people.

It is up to the present generation to imagine, fashion and craft the Kenya of the future. By the time Kenya is 100 years old in 2063, it is possible to attain First World Economic Status with a wealthy, healthy and prosperous population enjoying high quality of life. The UK took 78 years, while the US took 70 years to industrialize. Japan, France, Germany, South Korea, China and Chile took between 50 and 30 years in descending order. Kenya can achieve the same in 37 years, by the 100th national birthday. Joined President William Ruto at the presentation of the preliminary reflections on this matter made by a group of eminent scholars convened by the distinguished Professor Peter Anyang Nyong’o, the Governor of Kisumu County. Truly blessed to be a son of Kenya.

I am shocked by the sudden honesty from the State over the death of Albert Ojwang, including the recovery of CCTV footage and the speed at which some details are now being released to the public. Whenever the State becomes this open in a case involving powerful people, I immediately ask myself whether they are preparing to sacrifice a small fish so that the person who gave the orders remains protected. The Star reported that Albert was at one point removed from Central Police Station and taken to Karura, where he was said to have met a senior police official before being tortured, collapsing and causing panic among those involved. This sudden honesty now begins to connect the dots, because the State may be showing Kenyans the final part of the story while carefully keeping attention away from who ordered Albert’s removal, who was waiting in Karura and why he was taken there. When the State shows you something and tells you something, do not only look at what they have presented, always ask what they are hiding, who they are preparing to blame and which bigger person they are trying to protect.
