@amenya_nelson @PatricksMiringu Be a father FIRST, and you will appreciate parenthood that you can’t drag your kids into every naughty thing you do or mess up in your job, career or even at home! That’s a very dimwit call!

Who knows Eliud Lagats family, kids social media handles? I know they must be flexing their nepo asses somewhere on IG, we should make the social cost of what he did high and painful. He should not be allowed to live a normal life while the family of Albert is living with the consequences of their lawless actions. Public office should come with public accountability.

So Yesterday am on a Matatu from Ruaka heading to the CBD, Around village market this Muzungu guy backpacker type enters the matatu, He hands over a 1000 to the matatu conductor, the conductor sees it as an opportunity to fleece him! Starts kuji fanya hana change! The Muzungu is like come on! take Shs 50 give me back my change! It goes on.. as we reach Ngara still pretends he has no change! Muzungu is like come on! give me back something then! All the while everyone is silent, finally i have heard enough! i propose to pay for him via Mpesa, conductor is like *'wacha kihehere!' i* check my backpack & i find some coins i hand them over to the Muzungu, finally the conductor has to give back the Guys Money. Why are we like this? We third world people? No wonder someone said we have no third world countries just third world people! - Am sure the same could have happened in any third world shit hole! This guy is here to explore our country & all we do is take the slightest opportunity to con / fleece them. We have a long way to go as a people.

I tend to take Sudis somewhat seriously, since he's the least educated person in the big man's inner circle. Meaning whatever gets discussed there, he has no filter for it and just repeats it as is. Huyu jamaa sioni akishuka.
Ian Tabariit@ITabariit

Will Kikuyus ever trust Kalenjins to occupy the big office again if this is the pride some individuals are showcasing now? They should understand that Sudi is speaking for himself but the action on the ballot will speak louder.

President William Ruto warns Kenyans about the dangers of goonism and violence - giving the example Sudan. He decries about courts releasing goons on bond after protests because they're our children. "Khartoum was a beautiful city 3 years ago. They have destroyed their country but the World is moving on. We must secure our country. Some people are arrested with criminality, taken to court and are given a bond of ksh 200k because they are our children. And now they go on.*

It was a pleasure meeting Victoria Oakley, Chief Executive Officer of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. I'm encouraged by the shared commitment to strengthening Kenya's creative economy and positioning Nairobi as Africa's next major hub for the recorded music industry. I am particularly delighted that Sony Music, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group have all agreed to establish a presence in Nairobi. This is a significant vote of confidence in Kenya's creative talent, our policy direction, and the reforms underway to build a globally competitive music ecosystem. The next phase is implementation, creating an environment where artistes, producers, publishers and investors can thrive together, generating jobs, exports and new opportunities for Kenyan creatives. Kenya is open for music. Nairobi is ready.

I am shocked by the sudden honesty from the State over the death of Albert Ojwang, including the recovery of CCTV footage and the speed at which some details are now being released to the public. Whenever the State becomes this open in a case involving powerful people, I immediately ask myself whether they are preparing to sacrifice a small fish so that the person who gave the orders remains protected. The Star reported that Albert was at one point removed from Central Police Station and taken to Karura, where he was said to have met a senior police official before being tortured, collapsing and causing panic among those involved. This sudden honesty now begins to connect the dots, because the State may be showing Kenyans the final part of the story while carefully keeping attention away from who ordered Albert’s removal, who was waiting in Karura and why he was taken there. When the State shows you something and tells you something, do not only look at what they have presented, always ask what they are hiding, who they are preparing to blame and which bigger person they are trying to protect.
