@ClintRLamb Sounds great about the DL, BUT what is it saying about the OL? Not throwing shade, but wanting to know how the OL is gelling.

A second key takeaway (sorry for a long message ahead): we need to be talking about Steve Mboumoua a LOT more. After Jimmy brought him up on the live show, I checked around. He isn’t just getting a healthy amount of first-team snaps. He’s creating significant issues inside. One source said Mboumoua “has to keep showing it” — meaning, keep stacking good practices — but it’s sounding like the light is beginning to come on. Guys, this feels significant. Devan Thompkins and Terrance Green are already impressing. So is Isaia Faga. Plus, we know what London Simmons is expected to be once he’s back. If you can add Mboumoua to that IDL rotation along with Jeremiah Beaman and Edric Hill, there’s no way you can play them all (7 players total). With that said, have to think this would make the staff feel even more comfortable playing Thompkins at Bandit as much as it’s needed. Will obviously be one of the primary interior pass rushers, but he’ll only be needed inside in situations where he can thrive — or at the very least, limit his early-down, inside reps some.
