Recency bias is a hell of a drug
Jokic had a very bad series for his standards, but Jokic’s standards are so much higher than Embiid. 3x MVP, champion, he’s cooked elite center after elite center. Gobert. Bam. Anthony Davis. Embiid has only won playoff series vs Neemias Queta and Kheim Birch.
Embiid was 5% below league average efficiency this series and shot 15% from 3, but you’d never hear anyone say that. That’s because it’s a miracle he managed to finish the series healthy and not choke.
Jokic’s 5th best playoff series is more impressive than Embiid’s best.
