@Martin_Kramer @BarakRavid @AhronBregman It’s not Israel indulging in the fantasy, it’s Bibi’s 1990s unimaginative, punitive thinking that you can bomb your way to “total victory”. He’s sold a lot of younger Israelis on this fiction, but there are plenty of us who know real peace must be a diplomatic achievement.

I am totally radicalized on the issue of criminal justice. We should increase executions by like a thousand percent. Bring back hard labor. Bring back corporal punishment. Bring back public lashings. Bring back public hangings. Our ancestors were right about all of that.
