The Citizen writes and publishes a story at 07:30 am on the day of the hearing saying a judgement has been passed, before the hearing even sits. They say “the court agreed, declaring the conference unlawful, unconstitutional..interim interdict was granted”. They declared this before the court even heard the arguments. How did the citizen come to this judgement and have the confidence to publish before the actual hearing? The ANC has called on them to take down this dubious story because the actual judgement on the Eastern Cape conference will only be delivered today at 11am. Our friends in the media must respect our independent judiciary and not erode trust in court processes.

Let’s pay TV licences guys. Jonga ngoku poster child and big advocate of the SABC being called out. I said this yesterday🙇🏽‍♀️🙇🏽‍♀️🙇🏽‍♀️ I, like many South Africans, owe the SABC and we need to do right by them. I’ve been in constant communication with the SABC to resolve this matter. I am told I have a debt of over R10k which just does not make sense to me since the licence is R265 per annum.
