@Mobyhaque1 Could it be Salah as the false 9 considering how potent he is...Szobo on the right hence why we want Frimpong to make the pace runs overlapping and such? Wirtz then playing that attacking mid role
If there is no consensus on a 9, if Ekitike will cost €100M, Isak €150-170M, etc
Having Wirtz play a False 9 would be a very effective setup. We already score boatloads of goals, we have the highest in PL this season and we would score even more with Wirtz creativity.
Liverpool making contact with Frimpong’s agent.
I really don’t understand this when the club wants Kerkez too. Having both won’t work, one needs to be defensive.
Games that would be inherently BETTER on Switch 2 (over any other console) because of mouse mode, I’ll start. CIV7, Baldur’s Gate 3, Fortnite & COD Warzone - what did I miss?
@Mobyhaque1 I reckon we will see, if we sign him, a back 5, 3 across the main backline and two attacking wingback regardless if Trent stays or goes it'll benefit him or Bradley
Let’s get Konaté done pls and get in Huijsen. The pathway is clear. We have Virgil likely for 2 more year and then it’s Huijsen for the long run if he decides to join us of course
@Mobyhaque1@Jack_Moore7 Isn't also true the data led them to Isak but Klopp and Co wanted Nunez...so it goes to show if the data is there then the possibilities of him being a very well liked and well rounded number for the team
@philatrail Why not just have a drop down ramp that can come out when doors open or have the capability to do such a thing with guards on the train...means everyone can board whereever, frees up time for passenger assisting and no heavy ramps...
DfT is making £5m available to ‘first of a kind’ innovations for, among other things, level boarding. I welcome this focus but the answer is simple - buy trains with floors that match Network Rail’s standard height platforms. And fund alterations to platforms that don’t comply.
@MartinSLewis@MartinSLewis why were the tax thresholds frozen? And why for so long? Can the current government reverse that decision now to then start seeing that real wage growth?
So where did the Chancellor's #SpringStatement "real household disposable income will rise £500" come from? Below I've clipped what seems to be the relevant bit from the OBR, and its not that rosy.
The £500 isn't mentioned but looking at this it's over the life of parliament not per year. Most of it comes in the last two years, after drops first, and is based on assumptions that some of current tax proposals eg freezing tax thresholds will end. It's worth a read...
@Keir_Starmer Just stop the freeze on the tax brackets, push them up, allow people to actually have more money in their pockets and to deal with the constant rising of other bills. Wages and such are rising to a point where people are being taxed on bare minimum already!
For too long, the Tories hid behind regulators, deferring decisions and letting them block economic growth.
And you paid the price for this stagnation.
I won't stand for it.
My government is cutting unnecessary regulation to boost growth and put more money in your pocket.
MINDSEYE has been on my radar for a while, and the State of Play trailer was a great surprise🚀
It’a like Detroit: Become Human in a GTA/Watch Dogs-like world
I hope it satisfies the itch for exploration from RDR2 and existentialism from Detroit😎 x.com/MindsEyeGame/s…
@philatrail With fares constantly going up and wages not necessarily reflecting that increase will be half the issue. No railcard to assist the general commuter which will directly deter people from the rails.
Rail passenger journeys are around 82% of the equivalent week in 2019 before the Covid pandemic severely disrupted travel, according to the latest figures from DfT. They don’t include Elizabeth line journeys.
@Keir_Starmer We have a deposit crisis. For most people to own a home they have to save above the 10% to make it even partially affordable per month. Wages do not coincide with the interests of housing. It's a disgrace.
For my family growing up, the roof over our heads was everything.
But for so many families today, homeownership is a distant dream.
My government will make it a reality once again.
We are sweeping aside the blockers to pave the way for the next generation of new towns.
@RachelReevesMP Or you could strip the ban on moving the tax brackets...raise the lower band to £20k and the higher band to £60k...that would really get the country in a better state. False economy through taxes does not work. Allow people to spend their hard earned money!
For too long, politicians have accepted an economy that has failed working people. I won’t.
By taking on the blockers to get Britain building, investing in infrastructure and removing barriers to growth, we are going further and faster to get more pounds in people's pockets.
