Wrong; women MPs do not only represent women, they contribute to the national discourse on budgets and many other things. Someone needs to tell joy that at a certain time in the future, when we feel like women have achieved the necessary emancipation; Government will move to scrap the woman MP seat so women and men can compete equally for the same seats. This will greatly reduce the number of Mps and save the taxpayer billions of shillings. All affirmative action seats(youth, elderly, workers) etc will be scrapped someday because for example, the youth MP seat is now redundant because most of the regular MPs are youth already. Same with elderly. Why does a parliament that has Rwashande and Gen Moses Ali still need another MP for the elderly?🤔 Also, Sewungu is a teacher, Ssenyonyi is a Journalist, Kabanda is a journalist, ( all workers) so why do we need other MPs to represent workers?🤔 We don’t need a farmers’ Mp because the speaker herself is a farmer so we are sure that she will raise the farmers’ issues on the floor.

@norbertmao is behaving like a known masculine man in the village who is impotent; no one worries even if he is seen with their daughter. Even among Acholi Subregion MPs, Mao would lose to Anita. He is also becoming a stubborn visitor. Barely a week in the house, and he already wants to dictate what should be on the “menu.” We know he accidentally became a minister; thank God for @KagutaMuseveni’s unity in diversity and inclusion. Anita might have committed administrative mistakes; this happens in public spaces, and even religious leaders have fallen short in this regard. No Leader in history that has not experienced Leadership lows and ups. However, she has exhibited a remorseful response toward such errors. That is something many people experience. Where it becomes tragic is in the failure to reform as a leader. Many leaders have gone through such transformation. Her time as Deputy to learn the job might have been short, but she has shown the ability to review herself through criticism. This makes her human. No one is upright enough to avoid experiencing leadership challenges; however, the ability to navigate those challenges is what defines a leader. Anita, like all of us, is human before God and therefore a sinner. However, God offered a window to cleanse ourselves before Him through prayer, supplication, sacrifice, and intercession (Isaiah 1:18). Likewise, Anita should not be sacrificed because of her past, but rather judged by how transformed, patriotic, loyal, and hardworking she has been to the Party and to herself.
