We monitored the rehabilitation and performance of the Agoro Irrigation Scheme in Lamwo District.From the onsite visit and Baraza with the famers, works which started in 2013 to-date remain incomplete, the scheme is performing dismally and risks failing to achieve it’s goal! 🚩

I spent the week traversing through Lamwo, Pader, Gulu, Oyam, Lira & Kitgum. You can see many homesteads engaged in the fight of their lives against poverty, I pray Uganda’s leaders can carry a sense of service to these communities. The Ugandan dream should remain alive!
