Five Year Plan 🦅🏆🏆
So if you had to choose your Player of the Year, who would it be? And if it isn't Ismaila Sarr, explain yourself? 😀

@PreetKGillMP In all of this fuss, has anyone said that Mandelson didn't do a good job as Ambassador. I would think that would be relevant, would you not agree?

The Tories push to refer Keir Starmer to the Privileges Committee is pure political gameplaying. We already have investigations underway and what they are proposing is duplication. This is a deliberate attempt to keep the focus on one appointment to undermine the Government.

@Fox_Claire @Torydemocrats It’s at times like these we realise why an unelected chamber can really work. If it was elected I’m not convinced it would be much more than a rubber stamp to the lower house.

Before the weekend, I gave my last speech on the last day of the Assisted Dying Bill, which has run out of road. Despite conspiratorial smears about filibustering peers, there were actually lots of fine speeches about the challenges of legislating to allow the state to assist people in taking their own lives. The problem for Kim Leadbeater and Lord Falconer is that they were more interested in parading celebs and winning the media war to bully peers into nodding the Bill through, and also seemed uninterested in winning over critical members of the public or worried disabled people. And just a bloody cheek to blame the Lords for eroding trust in parliament - have they looked at the shenanigans of their own Party/leader?

@tom_watson Hi is first and foremost a liar, and that’s just the start of it. He is a disgrace to the position of PM and if he genuinely had any semblance of conscience he would resign but I don’t think he ever would.

BREAKING: PM visibly raging as he speaks to @SamCoatesSky on Mandelson vetting row Starmer says it's "staggering" and "unforgivable that [he] was not told", he's "absolutely furious" "I was not told he had failed security vetting... No 10 was not told, that is completely unacceptable."

@AngelaTopping @Gianl1974 @bottomley50 I am amazed that after the numerous disasters that have been largely self inflicted by the current government, that some people can with all seriousness think that Keir Starmer is doing a good job.

@Gianl1974 @bottomley50 My husband's worst fear was that Boris Johnson would be in power at the same time as Trump. Thank god we have a proper real prime minister now and not some vacuus buffoon. Proud of Starmer. He is averting WW3.

BREAKING: Britain’s Prime Minister Just Delivered a Br— And the Entire World Saw It. A reporter threw Keir Starmer into the fire with one explosive question: “Tru.m.p is furious with you. Has your relationship completely fallen apart?” Most politicians would have panicked. Dodged the question. Smiled awkwardly. Tried to calm the headlines. But not Starmer. He stared straight ahead and said the one thing almost nobody in Washington has dared to say out loud: “I act in the British national interest. My principles and values are what guide me. Nothing — but nothing — is going to deflect me from that.” No apology. No fear. No desperate attempt to keep T.ru.mp happy. Just imagine that for a second. While American politicians continue walking on eggshells around the man in Mar-a-Lago, Britain’s Prime Minister stood on a military base in Saudi Arabia and made it crystal clear: “I do not govern for you.” He refused to drag Britain into a war without legal approval. He demanded proof, legality, and accountability. For 39 days, he held his ground while Tr.u.mp raged, threatened, and unleashed fury online. And when asked if he regretted standing up to Tr.ump? Not one second of hesitation. Not one word of apology. Not one inch of retreat. This is what real leadership looks like. Not angry social media posts before sunrise. Just a leader who knows exactly who he serves — and refuses to bow.

@linmeitalks We should introduce a system where people are only allowed to live in houses with n+1 bedrooms. If your kids move out, you have a few years to sell up and right-size to your new family size. If you have a child, you qualify to buy one of those bigger houses being freed up.

There are boomers sitting in large houses who don’t even want to free up equity or sell their house to help their own children get on the ladder. This is the level of selfishness we are dealing with. Thank god for parents like my mother She would sell her house in Tottenham tomorrow if it meant helping me…. And I would do anything to make her life comfortable- that’s what family is about. An eco system of giving. These days many boomers don’t want to help with grandchildren or finacial assistance and children don’t want to help their parents - so much selfishness between recent generations and it will get worse.

SACKED after 17 years… for stopping a thief. A Waitrose worker in Clapham Junction has lost his job after intervening to stop someone stealing Easter eggs. Walker Smith, 54, had given 17 years of service only to be shown the door for trying to do the right thing. No warning. No loyalty. Just gone. What message does that send to staff and to every other would be shoplifter wanting an easy target. Do your job… but don’t actually protect the business. Waitrose have ABSOLUTELY no loyalty to their staff they are quite happy to dispense of Loyal partners like yesterdays rubbish.
