a very memorable track day even though I was just a passenger. I enjoyed it and loved how humble and kind everyone was. The track definitely brings out the best parts of car enthusiasts. One guy kept asking me to ride with him because my hyped reactions made him drive better 😹

The hybrid battery was changed at around 500,000 miles (804,672 km). Oil changes every 5,000 miles (8,046 km) and transmission fluid every 60,000 miles (96,560 km).

Making all the GT500 cars 4 cylinders ruined Super GT forever. JGTC in the 90s and Super GT in the early 2000s was some of the best racing around. The cars were still based on road cars and the variety was what made it interesting. Nowadays it’s basically just carbon monocoque silhouettes underneath, all sharing the same 2.0L turbo inline 4.
