Houston is superior to San Francisco but the whole Bay Area is more competitive. Houston and Charleston are better than NOLA. Hard to surpass LA, NY & Chicago. A lot of the top 5 comes down to expense accounts; rent.

@ratw1fe @halvorsen Well… parenthood makes it a tad harder to focus as much energy on oneself, especially if you don’t have a partner pulling their weight. There’s also the biological stress of pregnancy, breastfeeding, etc
