SHE DOESN'T LOOK NOTHING LIKE THAT in real life, she wish.
The filter on her picture is so extreme that it made her look overly plastic, like a Barbie doll.

@FelicityGumdrop Oh please. Ever stood in the rain with squealing children? It's a hoot. She was feeding off their energy and not running around panicking like these children were going to melt. She did what she could with one umbrella. Outrage over nothing.
@GravesRanch@LunaBean111@crazyclips_ Also, his reaction can be partially attributed to the other members of the crowd asking him to step back. We see what we want to see to suit the narrative we want to tell.
@GravesRanch@LunaBean111@crazyclips_ Thank you. Came looking for the factual account of what happened (old footage). Woman also stepped out in an interview after the incident and major backlash against her husband. Turns out this 'horrible' husband was very supportive during her training and was behind her.
@Mike_in_Buffalo@RobertMSterling Teacher for 25 years. It’s been a steady decline that accelerated in recent times thanks to tech, quality of parenting, the over scheduling of children, diet - the list goes on. Easier to blame Covid than admit we’ve been screwing up on all fronts for some time.
The response to COVID was disastrous, but we need to stop blaming it for the total collapse of functional schools. Screens, content consumed, social media, a diet of chemicals and colors, and gentle (if even that) parenting are the culprits. A year on Zoom didn’t help, but that should mostly be worked out by now.
Met a 4th grade teacher yesterday. She told me her students last year were the most difficult she’s ever had, by far. Worse emotional regulation, poor social skills, no attention span, etc.
I asked her why. What changed? Phones?
“No, not screens. Covid. This group did kindergarten during the pandemic. They started kindergarten over Zoom, then they had to social distance and wear masks once they finally went back into a physical classroom.”
Four years later, teachers are still seeing noticeable differences in social and intellectual development because of these policies.
We set back an entire generation of kids over a virus that had basically zero health risk to them.
Shame on us.
@LindyTasteful A person at the beginning of a career often invests an incredible amount of time and energy into their work. Some industries involve much more work than others. Taking exception with someone working hard is weird. No tragedy here - just financial
Independence and choice.
@Laura38123422@Ria1984 And alongside this, each of their specialists you coordinate with to write their IEPs. The look of confusion when I ask, ‘but how do I make that recommendation work in a class of 26 foundation children with no full time aide?’ I am one for many.
@Ria1984 I understand that they want the best for their child and they sometimes feel it’s a constant fight. I would just appreciate some compassion from parents. You know your child can be challenging and exhausting but we’re trying to care for them and teach them alongside 30 others.
#SENDParents literally seem to think that their child is the ONLY child in the class.
The way they speak about schools/educators on social media is nothing short of vile.
@xDaily_Know It’s one meal. At another person’s celebration. That they’ve invited you to. That in this case, doesn’t force anybody to consume something that they can’t consume on an ethical basis. Brother was rude and completely disrespectful as were the guests that ate the pizza.
@Beanie0597@HKorbey I'm a big advocate for specialist elementary teachers for math (as well as science and technology - STEM).
I worked in a program that had primary STEM teachers and it was awesome. Such a difference having students learn with teachers that love the subject!
@HazelAppleyard_ Choosing not to have children isn’t selfish. Discussing it in public is simply normalising this choice. Her reasons are her own and they are not incorrect. Perhaps those that find this woman’s take so unpalatable are too afraid to admit parenthood was a mistake for them.
Erik Satie (1866-1925) was a French composer known for unconventional, witty music that broke from Romanticism. His spare style, using novel harmonies and unusual elements, influenced 20th-century music.

@talesofpiper@Emma_Turner75 Children are being raised to believe that they are the centre of the universe & that everything is up for negotiation. Not unreasonable to expect children to attend school with an understanding that it runs in a certain manner so entire groups of children can learn and stay safe.
@Emma_Turner75 If more kids are saying ‘no,’ maybe we should ask *why* instead of just seeing it as a problem. Respect isn’t given automatically—it’s earned. Adults need to model it, not just demand obedience.
Had a fascinating conversation with a nursery teacher of almost 30 yrs. She was saying one of the biggest changes she’s seen in recent years is the number of children who say ‘no’ and simply refuse to follow any adult instruction. She said it used to be super rare but not now.
@Fldem1960@womenpostingws Who said it wasn’t? It’s not an excuse to treat people poorly. Irritable? I get it. But this woman posted the video which indicates that even when not experiencing PMS, she believes her behaviour is justified.
@Casagrandezz My father is a ‘generic employee’ in his 70’s. Worked at the same company for 30 + years. Has tidied up the mess of countless managers who’ve swanned in, created chaos, & left. More experience, knowledge & wisdom than most of his management & they know it. Not a man to be pitied
Seeing guys in their 40s/50s as generic employees or new hires is a very strange phenomenon it’s crazy to see a grown, aging man be at the beck & call of other others. Being whipped around, doesn’t look or feel right.
@CrazyVibes_1@PicturesFoIder Nice sentiment, but perpetuating the idea that the bar shouldn’t be raised high enough so that common decency is not expected without a reward is not the way forward here.
@stevemur@mhp_guy I remember the disappointment but oh boy, the magic of Santa was worth it.Even now, the nostalgia around that childhood memory brings me happiness.I also believed fairies lived at the bottom of the garden. Wouldn’t change those magical memories for anything.
I regret lying to my kids about Santa.
Christmas is already magical on its own, it doesn't need Santa's help.
Their reactions when I told them...just brutal. More downside than upside.
@absolutelyamyyy It saddens me that it even has to be written down. This is basic common courtesy when in shared spaces. I think the need to put up a notice like this reflects the rise of the importance of individual over community.
