The current decision to relax the Sybil criteria feels like it’s punishing those who followed the rules, while the people who deliberately cheated still get their tokens — and they probably won’t even hold them. I hope one day we’ll see you back on Backpack, active and trading with us again. 🤙

Agreed. Team should’ve shown in advance who gets how many tokens (if any) and given at least a week for appeals. It wouldn’t have taken much time and would’ve avoided all this unnecessary drama Unfortunately, they did the exact opposite. And now we’re dealing with the consequences of those bad decisions

@sikiri0 Don’t easily trust those guys… Lots of them deserve to be sybiled.

From what I can see so far, the team’s first-step Sybil detection strategy has been successful — it effectively identified users who rented NFTs and those operating multiple accounts. However, this kind of programmatic batch-detection mechanism can’t filter out users who only committed relatively minor infractions. As a result, we’re seeing a massive wave of users wrongly flagged as Sybils, while the truly malicious actors might actually seize this chaos to gain leniency. What the team needs to do better is release the Sybil list earlier and open the appeal process in advance, so everything doesn’t pile up and explode on TGE day. It’s a complete mess.

@chris93eth @Backpack Yeah, I’m following it. And I’m glad some users have started getting their compensation back. I also agree - I’m pretty sure some people were playing dirty. But it’s hard to say for sure, we’ll probably never know the full truth. I think it’s somewhere in the middle

If you are tracking those Sybil users’ appeal results, I saw lots of people confessing that they have multiple accounts or rent ML NFTs to trade. The FUD and chaos at TGE might just be a meticulously planned attack by people who already knew they would be flagged as Sybils, yet still deliberately manipulated public opinion and steered the narrative to achieve their goals.

I don’t doubt that if trading does happen through the Telegram chat, it’ll be safe. But it creates a ton of inconvenience. And most importantly, it’s a huge hit to the exchange’s reputation. That’s what worries me the most Exchange without liquidity is a dead exchange. They’re OBLIGED to provide trading for their own token on their own platform for any size orders (and we know they can do it if they really want to). Even if that means supporting it with their own money. Especially since, from what I remember, they were planning to pay compensation to the Chinese users straight out of their own pocket

@js_dun @Backpack I remember The vault didn’t participate the $BP MM. Yeah I agree the team should have better way to provide enough liquidity to deal with critical pump and dump during the token whales trading. But the funds in BP is safe. I don’t doubt it.

@chris93eth @Backpack I already spoke about this. If exchange doesn’t have enough liquidity to support proper trading of its own token, problem shouldn’t be solved by creating a Telegram chat. It needs a much bigger fix Then what was the point of the vault we’ve been waiting for like 6 weeks?

綠葉不知道在修什麼修了10幾個小時還沒好，都AI時代了還這麼沒效率，客服也是爛到裂開，大概2-3年前把U打錯鏈進去花了1成手續費救了1年才救出來，客服爛技術也不怎樣，只剩下放貸能拿出來說嘴了🤖

同步一下 Backpack 申诉的结果： 刚看见女巫结果的时候自己和身边的小伙伴都懵了，自己有三个号，身边朋友也有几个号。因为我们前期十分看好背包，所以通过家人号分散交易量，尽可能的去提升积分效率。在我们自己的观念里面，Armani在discord内说过madlad/家人号没事，我们应该就不会被女巫，所以最开始对这样的结果确实是没法接受。 前天提交申诉后，一直和中文团队的小姐姐们保持沟通。这才了解到有很多租借NFT以及工作室的账号，一个NFT绑上几十个账户，一个地址登陆上百个账户。其实自己也没想到过租借NFT的体量和工作室的体量有这么大。站在项目方立场，确实要想办法隔离这部分账号。 因为我的Madlad是在2年前和朋友一起合伙购买的，所以我以及家人号，和朋友的号是在共用一个madlad交易，而bp第一轮制定的这个标准确实是非常严格和aggressive的，这也导致自己的号被标记成了租借madlad行为的女巫。 真心感谢 @Miiiho420 和 Backpack 中文团队，非常耐心且专业，也很善良。在他们的帮助下，通过申诉成功拿回了50%的token。之前的帖子都先隐藏了，大家理解问题处理问题的视角不同。同时身边也确实很多无论大户，散户都拿到了，事情也在朝好的方向发展。

一張截圖看到整個維權運動的面貌，檯面上沒有人會說他做了些什麼事，只說了他被女巫了。靠著與論壓力才拿到了互相妥協而來的結果，會吵的孩子有糖吃，也許這整件事背後有一部分就是那些明知道會被女巫但是頭已經洗下去了不得不幹到底而引起的與論戰。祝好😮‍💨 現在倒有點像在懲罰那些沒租NFT來低成本刷分的人了，這世道守正規的人總是衰小

I stand with MadLads. NFTs haven’t been doing well, but you can’t fud MadLads after everything they’ve done for Solana and its holders. Fud NFTs or Solana as a whole if you want, but don’t fud one of the most legendary nft projects. If you’re going to fud @MadLads, name one Solana NFT project that has done things better than them. You literally can’t. If MadLads are the most successful, they’re doing the least wrong. The fud is undeserved. Zoom out. The bull run is gone. Floors are down. Most communities disappeared when prices fell. So, who has actually done it better than MadLads? If you think you can do better, start from scratch. Build something and match their results.

@chris93eth 我就一个号，正常做交易。但是女巫了。专门针对华人用户，不会申请的，既然做出这么恶心人的决定，就说明团队是没有契约精神的垃圾。
