Many Nigerians don't realize how much mess we are in, because they too contribute to the mess.

Buhari paid subsidy on everything - petrol, dollars, electricity, CBN loans, took ways and means from the CBN to balance expenditure, yet you called him clueless, illiterate etc. Tinubu is doing the exact opposite, and here you are complaining again. You can't oppose Buhari's method and still come out to criticise Tinubu's method in less than 3 years. You have to be pathologically daft, for real.

Why didn't Tinubu complete Nigeria refineries to give Nigerians cheap fuel.... What Buhari couldn't do in 8 years.... What Obasanjo couldn't do in 8 years... What Jonathan couldn't do in 6 years... I know Tinubu is a super man.... but those who supported Jonathan, Buhari and Obasanjo want miracles from him... Tinubu would fix Nigeria refineries in 8 years.... but the refineries won't sell fuel below production cost... that is bad business.... In 3 weeks Petrol price has increased by about N600.... As the war in Iran rage.... It could increase by over N1000.... Should Nigeria return subsidy........Never....... Nigeria consume over 80 million litres of petrol and Diesel everyday... If Nigeria pay subsidy to keep price below N800 per litre.... It would cost Nigeria over N1.5trillion monthly.... And over N25trillion if the war stretches beyond 12 months.... Nigeria expected revenue for 2026 is N34 trillion... Recurrent Expenses is N32trillion... Adding subsidy extend the recurrent Expenses to almost N60trillion... Some would say we can get the extra N25trillion from the oil windfall since Nigeria budget oil benchmark was $67 per barrel... But prices are now over $105 per barrel.... Subsidy invite corruption.... N25trillion subsidy bill could easily become N35trillion... As subsidize fuel enter West Africa countries.... Like previous Oil windfall under past leaders... It will only sink Nigeria into deeper debt and poverty... For those suggesting nigeria give Dangote subsidize crude.... Dangote is not a govt refinery..... It must profit from these global oil crisis... Demands are coming from all part of Africa.... Dangote will not give Nigerians fuel for peanuts while higher bidders from neighboring countries are knocking... Dangote refinery was built to use partly Nigeria crude and foreign crude.... So even if Nigeria dash him crude... He will still buy expensive foreign crude.... Subsidize fuel destroyed Nigeria four public refineries.... We can't keep repeating what has consistently failed.... The only solution out of these crisis is to mount pressure on Trump and Netanyahu to take their attack dogs out of the middle East.... Those supporting these duo and expecting cheap fuel are the reason why the Urhobos say... It is better to born a thief than to born a mumu... Proverbs are not for kids...

Jim Rohn on how to get whatever you want (in one word): "How to get whatever you want. Here's what it says: Ask. That's it. End of notes." Jim explains: "If there's one art in life to learn extremely well, it's the art of asking. The formula is staggering; it says 'Ask and you shall receive.' You've got to be better than a good worker. You've got to be a good asker." He shares three key points on asking: 1. Asking starts a unique process. "It's mental and emotional. I don't even know how it works; all I know is it works. It's like pushing a button, and all this machinery starts working. Some people are always studying the roots. Others are picking the fruit. Depends on which end you want in on." 2. Receiving is automatic. "If that's true, receiving is not the problem. What's the problem? Failure to ask. The guy says, 'Oh, now I see it. I got up last year and hit it every day, but there's not a scrap of paper with my goals on it.' Good worker, poor asker." 3. Success is not in short supply. "It isn't rationed. It's like an ocean. So what's the problem? Some people go to the ocean with a teaspoon. What you want to do in view of the size of the ocean is trade your teaspoon for a bucket." Jim shares the two ways to ask: "Ask with intelligence. Be clear, be specific. How wide? How high? How soon? What size? What color? How much? Define what you want and describe what you want. Goals become like a magnet; they pull you in that direction. The better you describe them, the more they pull." "Ask with faith. Believe you can get what you want like a child. Not an adult. Adults are too skeptical." He concludes: "The formula really reads: Make plans like an adult and believe in them like a child. And the most incredible things will happen. Just try it for 90 days. You can always go back to the old ways."
