I’m pleased with this. Very pleased. Wins in the offseason and on the books are all we got right now lol. I believe this move will translate to wins on the field though. Very positive direction. I see nothing negative about these moves thus far when looked at thru the lens of a rebuild.

Peel back really far. Look at the history of human beings. Where do you think morality or being “good” or our base concepts or right and wrong ultimately come from ? Forget one single religion for a moment and look broadly .. ALL morality comes from some form of religion and always has as a part of the formation of society. It’s always been the fabric and the backbone of morality in a society. Even philosophy was a form or religion for the stoics. Even they acknowledged “the gods” although they didn’t recognize a particular one very often. In their “human wisdom” they recognized that there is a higher power of some sort , and it was LOGICAL to them that there is some type of God or “Gods” Anyhow .. great discussion I appreciate your responses. And I totally get what you’re saying. Just to make sure there’s nothing lost in translation of text lol.

@chrisOsmith @HeathEvans44 @FootballScoop They are learned from other humans. If you want to attribute that to a higher power, you do you. I didn’t learn my morality from a book or a deity, I learned it from other people.

I played for Nick Saban, Bill Belichick, and Sean Payton. I studied under some of the greatest coaching minds in the history of professional football. And after the Lord saved me, I realized something that changed everything. Every single leadership principle that made those teams thrive is biblical. They just did it for the glory of man instead of the glory of God. Here is what I mean. Belichick taught us to do our jobs. Scripture commands us to work as unto the Lord, not for the approval of men. (Col. 3:23) Belichick held Tom Brady to a higher standard than anyone else. Scripture says to whom much is given, much is required. (Luke 12:48) Belichick cut the cancer immediately, no matter the cost. Scripture tells us that a little leaven leavens the whole lump. (Gal. 5:9) Belichick sacrificed personal credit and took responsibility for every loss. Scripture calls leaders to be servants first. (Matthew 20:26) Brady sacrificed personal stats for the good of the team. Scripture says do nothing out of selfish ambition, but in humility consider others above yourself. (Phil. 2:3) Brady could encourage a teammate and confront him in the same breath. Scripture says speak the truth in love. (Eph. 4:15) These men did not know they were pulling from eternal, biblical commands. But the principles worked. They always work. Because truth is truth whether the man wielding it knows its source or not. Now imagine this. If these principles built a two-decade dynasty in professional football with men who did not know the Lord, what would God do through His church if we humbled ourselves and followed the same playbook? What would happen in your marriage if you coached yourself harder than you coach anyone else? What would happen in your home if you cut the cancers of laziness, passivity, and selfishness? What would happen in your leadership if you stopped protecting your ego and started serving your team? The blueprint is not new. The playbook has been written for two thousand years. The question is whether you are willing to run it. I spent 10 years in the NFL and the best locker rooms I ever walked into operated on principles that Scripture laid out long before football existed. Stop looking for a new framework. Open the Book. And do your job.

You also don’t have to be in any particular religion to appreciate gravity or feel / see its effects . Man didn’t invent gravity… and it’s working on us all the time whether we realize it or not. Revisit the language in the post friend. He says they were exercising these principles whether they knew it or not. These traits are not man made. Nor do they come naturally. Humans can possess these traits but they are learned.

@HeathEvans44 @FootballScoop Sorry, but these men didn’t “pull from eternal, biblical commands”. They pulled from eternal human traits of discipline, integrity, and determination. One does not have to devote oneself to any specific religion or group to hold these traits.

#AGTG in the Highest! I’m beyond grateful for every message, call, DM, and opportunity that’s come my way. I don’t take any of it lightly. To every Coach and Recruiter who has reviewed my film, spoken my name in rooms I haven’t sat in yet, and shown interest in me as a player and a young man thank you. God didn’t have to open these doors, but He did. I’m humbled, I’m working, and I’m praying for wisdom as I evaluate each opportunity to make the right decision for my future on and off the field. Trusting the process. Staying ready. Thanks to my Allen family and parents. @RecruitAllen @RecruitAllen @CoachLWig @ChaseHargis @Coach_Gonzales @LarryWMcrae @CoachRobertt @TheWillRealtor @rainbowcoachv @Ath_Dynasty

Frisco used to be 75% White. Now? 45% and falling. Visa loopholes and endless importation have turned neighborhood streets into this. Happening block by block. If this isn’t stopped, there won't be any Texas left for actual Americans.

@Mappy6984 It’s really dumb. You play “faster” because the game is soft now. Guys got soft tissue injuries back then to and they rubbed dirt on it and kept playing .. then iced the shit out of if between games due to the Mindset difference. Lol

They aren’t doing it because these splitters in the video are not cheap .. and if they have to start of with a single log splitter it’s $1500 minimum for a decent one. A single saw that’s worth a damn is $1000 or so + all the chains and bars and oil and gas. Then you have the hard work and TIME it takes to cut and split and stack the wood. If someone doesn’t have the highly expensive splitter like you’re showing in the video here then it takes them all day to cut and split and stack a cord of wood. Especially if it’s a one man show. Then you’re talking a lot delivering that wood in a trailer with a truck that by nature will experience a high level of wear and tear … so No.. it’s not the cost of a chainsaw.. it’s having the place to store the wood , stack the wood , having the trailers and the truck to haul and pickup this wood when it’s just a tree on the ground. High profit margins in the uptake yes.. but the skill and the time it takes to get to that $ is a lot. Not as simple as it seems. Also- most “tree companies” are keeping it and selling it themselves Not always as easy as just going and getting it (but yes you can find it for free sometimes)

THE ECONOMICS OF A FIREWOOD BUSINESS Do you know what the net profit margin is on a firewood business? 85% And I know that because I've talked to dozens of people running these businesses and the numbers are wild This is exactly how it works: 1) You can get firewood for free or extremely cheap. People are literally paying tree companies like mine to get rid of trees. You show up with a truck, you haul it away and they're thanking you for it. 2) Then you split it, you stack it and you season it for a few months and sell it for $300 to $600 per cord. Startup costs are almost nothing, a chainsaw, an axe or a log splitter and a truck and you can rent a log splitter for $70 a day. You could be in this business for under $800. Some people start with even less by borrowing equipment and this is perfect because the demand is consistent. People need fire wood every single winter. It's not a fad, it's not going away and it's local and in the summertime you sell to the barbecue enthusiast. You're not competing with Amazon or big corporations, you 're competing with maybe three other guys in the area that don't even know what a website is. The work is physical but it's simple, you're going to the gym anyway. Cut, split, stack, deliver. No complicated systems, no tech skills required. You run this entire business from your phone with a Facebook marketplace and a Craigslist ad and winter's coming. The kicker is that you build up a customer base and then they come back every single year. So it's recurring revenue without a subscription model. People find a firewood guy that they trust and they stick with them forever. You could realistically do $50,000 to $150,000 a year seasonally working part-time. I'm stumped why more people aren't doing this.
