@elonmusk That isn't how money supply is suppose to work. Plus a idle mind is the devil's playground.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

The issue with most kids. They dont climb trees, wrestle, kick a ball, ride bikes, jump on trampolines, swim etc.. just be a kid. They just sit and play video games and parents dont send them out to just play. The ones who do generally are good little athletes. They already move well etc. Body movement comes from play. If you cant i just go train movement you would have gained from walking on logs or jumping off dog houses what ever.

If you put your kid in this “training” at 7yo it is nothing more than a fancy daycare At 7-14yo your kid doesn’t need training or to specialize in a sport. They need to be a kid. Play multiple sports. Play pickup sports with their friends outside. Not every waking moment needs to be scheduled for kids. If you disagree with me then go listen to all the pro athletes who say the same thing
Joey Bergles@JoeyBergles

I train kids from every sport imaginable. They all train as “athletes” If a 7-14 year old gets more athletic - they’ll get better at their sport.

I stopped posting because it was stressful and not good for my mental health. I made several bad decisions and blew what was an incredible life changing amount of money. No one should cry for me as I am still up. 200% in the past year but going from $1.2 million to $15 million in 13 months was incredible. Being down to $6 million isn’t a tragedy but it certainly played on my psyche. Currently I believe gold is headed towards $5000 and silver to $100. From here I am not doing any trades and will just hold what I own. I did sell $2 million of NEM booking a profit and bought $2 million HL because I believe silver will appreciate more than gold this year.

What if nobody played travel ball until after Little League at 13? Less burnout? Fewer arm injuries? Or does it slow development? Not for everyone—but maybe it works for some. Thinking outside the box. What do you think? I think I know the answer for most.

🧵 “I want to get into coaching now that my career is over/ending soon-What do I do?” It’s a question I never got 11 years ago but I get it 10 times a month now. With travelball fizzling out- player performance is the new market private capital is getting into- here’s my answer

Apparently, Nats coaches are now using tennis rackets instead of fungos to hit fly balls to their outfielders. This is really the point in baseball, where you’ve gotta sit there and go holy crap. We need more baseball people and less nerds teaching this game.

@drantbradley Interesting, I would probably disagree. Don't feel it's the place for a son to ever "test" his father. Eventually, it will go there. I've never "roughhoused" w/ my dad and never wanted to. He's my guy for life.

When I present the data on how vital father-son roughhousing is, dads often ask, “Until what age?” My response, “As long as you both can walk, that’s how important it is.” Josh Harris knows this! [P.S.—the teen years are particular crucial.]

@CoachMarcusHill We went to travel because of how our particular ll was ran. I have seen other ll in different towns ran much better. Ours seems to be allergic to good players. They just leave.

@Roger1stCFalls @flowsdoc I agree to an extent, but if your kid really loves the game the rec schedule just isn’t enough baseball. But I guess that’s a result of travel too. Rec in my town is only 10-12 games even if you make it to the end. Then summer might be another 9-10. Not enough for some

Being a youth baseball parent is hard. My 7-year-old loves the game—wants to train all the time. Talked to a dad whose son just went through the travel ball gauntlet… all the names, programs, connections. Felt the FOMO… Then it hit me—we don’t need to chase everything. We just need to enjoy the game and let them grow. Any advice?

@CoachMarcusHill Really? That’s weird. I would never, shit I told my 12yr old we need to see X parameters improved and his commitment if he wants to continue. Or else he can just play local.

Most Parents won’t admit it but their kid is on a travel team because they get along with the other parents. Don’t care about winning or development or facilities or college placement they literally just pay thousands for their own sideline social club so they can post pictures on social media to keep up their public social status.

@CoachMarcusHill @nwobball If my boys were sucking it up I would be off fishing. Its a waste of time if its a social club for me. I have other things to do. This was yesterday enjoying baseball.

@CoachMarcusHill We went travel because our little league is not much of a league at at all. When you practice everyday but the kids you play with dont it become frustrating for kids. That is what pushed my family towards select. Better competition for my boys.
