Sorry, but not sure I buy that Billy Donovan simply would not engage at all with North Carolina or even think about it it until the last second of the final game for a team that has been eliminated for weeks and axed its front office today.

Shocker for sure. His name wasn’t mentioned as a candidate by anyone. My first reaction is that it’s a bad idea. But if he is truly all in and ready to work then it has a chance to succeed.

@BTForCongress The same questions could be asked of people in long time blue states like NY and CA. The longer a state stays in one party's hand, the more to the extreme side of that party it drifts. Also, for some reason, rather than do research many people just vote for a name they know.

Florida has been controlled by the Republican Party for 30 years. Republican have run all 3 branches of government here in Florida for 3 decades.
So serious question for my fellow Floridians……
If you are concerned with the homeowners insurance issues we have, the over development of our state, the rising cost of living, the education system not operating to the best of it’s ability, and the healthcare system deficiencies we have…….

Carolina’s issue is they’re trying to buy a stock after it skyrockets. They could’ve had Lloyd or Maye 5 years ago, now it’s too late. Michigan & Arizona gambled on coaches & they won. UNC likely will have to do the same with a lesser known coach. But they want a home run hire.

I don’t remember anyone asking Lute Olson about other coaching jobs because we all assumed that he had had at @ArizonaMBB a “”top 5” job. Now that Wildcats are back in Final Four, nothing’s changed.

The idea that North Carolina can afford to pay Hubert Davis $5 million to leave and Arizona $9 million for Lloyd's buyout before they've given him a penny in salary or a dime for his roster seems very far fetched to me, to put it mildly.
