@ColbyCohen36 Because many of us who have followed and covered the sport for years see it as more than a feeder to the NHL. We're focused on the college game, period. The players now vs. their next step. Dude was -4 and not in my top 30 players. I don't watch for or care about pro potential.

Why does everyone complain about College Hockey being an afterthought and then a potential #1 overall pick that everyone wants to market comes and we do our best to alienate him? Stop gate keeping and try to enjoy the opportunity for College Hockey to be in the spotlight.

@MikeGrinnell_ @JD_Jerbear Can every arena handle a regional though? How are you going to ask a 3000 seat arena on the east coast to host 4 teams with their two locker rooms? What about multi-purpose facilities? Are we holding teams hostages from booking major events “in case” their team gets to host?

What a shame. Imagine this game being played at Munn. I’ll never stop beating this drum until we see change. Impossible to grow the game if we cant get out of our own way
Drop the Mitts Hockey@dropmittshockey

@MikeGrinnell_ Porter Martone, Ryker Lee, Trey Augustine, some of the top players in College Hockey and nowhere near a sellout in Worcester. Could have picked my seat today. Couldn’t agree more G

Why? Why is he a “douche?” Because he disagrees with you politically? That’s why? So people who disagree with you politically are douches? Man, that’s messed up & that’s why this country is so dangerously divided. Grow up.
Adam Carolla@adamcarolla

I always knew he was a douche

@adamcarolla Thanks for reminding us why Kimmel is a star, and you're forced to appeal to right wing losers in order to eat. Looking forward to your cancellation when the good guys are back in power.

Thread of @chrislerch's conversation with retiring Mercyhurst hockey coach Rick Gotkin on today's shocking and dumbfounding announcement of the program's cancellation by a university president on her way out the door:

"Hockey was a pretty important sport (at Mercyhurst) especially back in the early days of Atlantic hockey. It was a pretty important sport in the MAAC years. It was a pretty important sport when we were playing Michigan in the 2000–2001 NCAA tournament."
